We use a more powerful 300W motor with a top speed of 4.97 mph, which is faster than a regular 4.2 mph 3-wheel scooter. The battery capacity is 12 AH and the standard range is at least 10 miles per charge. Climbing angle is up to 8 degrees.

I really like this scooter. Its top speed is almost too fast, but I'm very happy with the speed variability available on this model. I took it on a trip recently to another city via Amtrak. It worked out beautifully. They were able to load it onto the train easily and it fits on our local buses/light rail. Comfortable seating, and the cane holder is very helpful. It has a very satisfactory battery life and the scooter handles well. I've received a number of complements on how nice this scooter looks (mine is blue). The cup holders are terrific and handy for other items as well. To be fair, I have to include a few Cons: The battery is heavy, and it's much easier to put into the back of my truck with the battery removed. The scooter is a bit too heavy for me to lift into my truck alone, but my truck bed is rather high. It would have been nice if there were assembly instructions enclosed. I had to use the user manual to figure out how everything fit together. The headrest wasn't included in either of the two boxes, but I didn't plan to use it anyhow. Check you battery on your this item. It requires a 20 ah battery. I purchased this for my husband as a Christmas surprise his after months of saving. We are seniors living on a fixed income with very costly monthly meds. My 83 yr old husband has severe lung issues and cannot get around much. After saving up I got this and my husband was thrilled. Since we live in the Midwest he just put it together a month ago and the only thing that worked was the light and horn. I called the number on the brochure it came with and that was disconnected. I contacted the manufacturer and they admitted I had the wrong size battery but it was out of warranty and they couldn’t help me. They asked me for my phone number and said a rep would call me but never did. Now I have to pay an additional $300. For a new battery . I can’t afford another expense but I have no choice. It’s really sad that they exploit the seniors they say they help. ... show more

the USB blew out righ away & I called , got someone right away ..seemed he actually worked there & knew his stuff. He immediately sent me a new stronger part that handles the pull from my android & a short video was emailed to me & I had no problem changing the part & the fuse. The scooter and all were terrific but, in the product info, on Amazon, this model says Equipped with two sealed 20AH lead-acid batteries. I only received one. I believe most people will want to know this?
