I have been meaning to write this review ever since I bought this, a bit more than a year ago. I have been using the scooter almost daily for commuting, and it has been very stable and trustworthy. Its combination of price, range, and max speed is almost unbeatable. I had previously bought a Segway Ninebot scooter with very good reviews for the same price, but max speed was lower AND the battery was very tight for my daily commute (8 miles). I returned it and bought this, and haven't regretted it for a day! Maybe the range for the full-speed option with some traffic light stops is closer to 10-11 miles, but you can extend that by running on the 2nd speed option, which is a bit slower but still quite fast (same as full speed of Ninebot). Just for reference, full-speed option is like a fast bike (you go past most bikes on the street), medium speed is like a medium bike (fast bikes go past you). I had one important mishap, that was however resolved swiftly and at no cost: a couple of months back, after a year of almost daily use, the scooter suddenly stopped working. Totally out of the blue, in a period where I was using it daily, one day it would only run for 50 meters, and run out of battery. I contacted support, and they were very responsive! They told me to send the scooter back, they sent me a UPS prepaid tag for it, and I received it back ~20 days later, fully functional, cleaned(!), and without extra charge!! They were really kind, and sent me several emails during that period, to make sure I had sent it, to tell me it has been sent back, to make sure I got it back, and to ask if I was happy with the fix. I will give this a 5 Star review because I purchased this for my 10 year old son for Christmas. He loves it and rides it daily to his friends' houses. It folds easily to put in the car and battery life is great. We never keep it outside after use and never ride it in the rain. With that being said the battery was having issues 6 months after use. It would not keep a charge and just die. I reached out to support and they had me ship the scooter for repairs (free of charge). They repaired the battery and shipped it back (free of charge). Now it is back and working great. My son loves this scooter so much that 4 of his friends went out and purchased one. I would recommend this if you are considering a Christmas gift. It does go fast so make sure your child is old enough to use it. ... show more

It originally came damaged, but it was only a chip and a broken light so, while annoying, it didn't deter my enjoyment of the scooter. It's not very good on inclines and the lights are so dim that it provides little to no light. Still, it wasn't enough to stop my enjoyment. It was a lot bulkier than I expected but that was an oversight on my part, not the company's fault. The scooter lasted well over a continuous hour of use, and the speeds were extremely reasonable. BUT THEN, after 3-4 weeks it completely died. I brought it out this morning only to find it dead. I thought it was weird since It was fully charged and I only left it uncharging for two days. I figured it must have been my fault and later I charged it for approx. 3 hours to full battery as indicated by the charger light. It didn't last 10 minutes of riding before completely shutting down mid-ride. I was extremely frustrated and confused, but I was running late for a meeting and didn't have time to charge it. After the 2-hour meeting, it turned on again but lasted only 5 seconds before shutting down again. I charged it, and it only took 20 min for the light to turn green indicating it was fully charged. I took it out and didn't last 5 min before promptly shutting down again. Unbelievable. This, added with all of the other small things has led me to return it and search for something else. ... show more

My hubby uses the scooter to go from the dock up a very long (3/4 mile) steep hill to get the truck so we can load our pontoon boat. When it’s 123 degrees outside, it really saves him. It is powerful and the battery lasts long. Also, it folds up small enough to stash in a compartment on our boat during the day. The board is wide so you feel stable and the ride is smooth on the asphalt. The tires are tough and have held up perfectly in the Arizona heat. Not melted at all. The best part is, when my hubby hops off the boat onto the dock, pops open his scooter and buzzes off up to the hill, all the other old men go nuts, clap and cheer. He feels ROCKSTAR!! It’s so funny. I even made little notes with the company’s Amazon info to pass out. lol Lastly, we broke a little plastic piece off and when I tried to order a replacement, the company just sent it to me for free. Very quickly!!! SUPER IMPRESSED! so if you want a great quality scooter for a good price and you want good customer service and to feel like a rockstar in front of old men at the Marina, this scooter is for you!
