    • It's cheap, but it works
I gave this pedal setup 3 stars because it gets 4+ stars in some areas and 2 or less stars in others. I got this as an Amazon Warehouse item for a big discount, so I tempered my expectations. It does its job to give me a little activity while I spend 12 hours at a desk, and folds up when not in use, which makes it very easy to store. The revolution counter and timer is also nice, although I'm pretty sure the calorie counter is very inaccurate. As for the cons, other reviews are correct that even at the highest resistance there is really no resistance. You're not going to "feel the burn" with this unless you count the heat that builds up in the pedal stems after prolonged use. After a few weeks of use it suddenly started having more resistance, but soon after it began squeaking loudly enough I couldn't use it in the office. I took some WD40 to all moving parts, and it is quieter now than it has ever been, but all resistance has now gone away. Overall I'm satisfied with it. I'm not looking to work up a sweat at the office, and its compact design and low price are right on target for my needs. ... show more

Folds up great. Lightweight and easy to move. Does move slowly some on carpet. Love it and great deal!

    • Resistance claims
The product stated that the item had strong resistance. Not so much. Purchased it as a rehab tool for a person that was in recovery and needed to be seated at home, during COVID, to get a good workout for arms and legs. Thankfully, we are at a point in recovery that allows the use of a spin bike...a better way for strengthening legs; however, sitting in a chair is better. The item is sill used for working the arms and when that is no longer a useful way of strengthening, I'll sell it. ... show more

    • Squeaky and no grip, slides away in use.
It is very squeaky and load even after using WD40. It will not stay in place while in use and often flips up when I have equipment push up against the wall. A little quieter when you have it on the table for arm work but would not recommend for feet/leg work. 🙄

The stepper arrived quickly. It came fully assembled, and the peddling is very smooth and quiet. It is light weight so I can carry it from room to room, but yet very sturdy when peddling, will not move around like my old exerciser. The manual says it can change to various heights, but it took me a while to figure out exactly how to adjust the height, you have to actually press the locking pin on the side in order to make it higher or lower, I wish it has a sticker says “Press Here”. The only downside is it slides on the floor. Needs something to keep it from moving while you’re using it.

    • An inexpensive way to exercise daily.
Cons: Regardless of floor surface it tends to move (creep) slightly when in use. The digital monitor is junk. Prod: Affordable, lightweight, easy to store, easy to adjust tension. Good for seniors who want exercise without all the frills.
