    • Not very sharp but still pretty!

I’ve had these knives a couple of weeks and they are beautiful! They look just like the pictures and are easy to clean. To be fair, I hand wash and I haven’t put them in the dishwasher, but I don’t usually put larger knives in there anyway. My only issue with them is that they aren’t very sharp. I have a sharpener so I was able to sharpen up the straight edge ones but unfortunately the serrated ones can’t be sharpened the same way so I’m left with moderately dull knives until I figure out a way to sharpen them. Another note is that the aqua blue handle is thin-ish plastic and feels sort of cheap and I doubt could stand up to heavy repeated use or intense dishwasher cycles. I would say that if you are a beginner cook or don’t do a whole lot of cooking, these knives are inexpensive (as far as knife sets go) and great for occasional use. Just make sure you have a steel for sharpening the straight edge ones and I would recommend hand washing. ... show more

I absolutely love this knife set. they are easy to clean and easy to cut meats, veggies and etc. I had to replace my old knifes because of toxic film coming off from the knives and I am happy that I don't have to worry about that with this set.

These are the PERFECT knives set! They cut amazingly and have the best blade!! Rainbow is my favorite colors and these did not disappoint at all!! The plastic covers are durable plastic to help protect the blades from getting nicks in the blades. When I first used them I was honestly shocked on how sharp they are! They knife is thick enough for durability and the blade is sharp. I tried to show these qualities in the pictures but it does do it justice. So I think these are really cool looking knives, but to convince my husband to buy them I needed something that was dishwasher safe. If you are like me, I researched and looked and found that it's really not a good idea to put ANY knives in the dishwasher. My husband did not want to hear that. A friend of mine bought these and I just loved how they looked, when I asked where she got them she told me Amazon and that they said dishwasher safe. The price was right so I had my hubby on board and honestly, they have held up through about 6 months of use in the dishwasher. Many of our previous knife sets that were more costly had already started to rust or fall apart at this point, but these are holding up. I see some blemishes in the rainbow chrome of a few, but very miniscule and it really doesn't bother me, when I am used to knives that fall apart by now with using a dishwasher. I would highly recommend these to anyone who is not looking to break the bank and wants a nice set of DISHWASHER SAFE knives. The rainbow chrome look was just a bonus for me. ... show more
