This neon light is really cute! I would say it's a bright blue color and casts a nice glow in a dark room. Very easy to mount on the wall and you hardly notice the wall hooks. There is a really long cord and the on/off clicker switch is towards the plug-in end of the cord, so that could potentially be a problem if you wanted easy acces to the switch from behind something; we have it mounted above a mirror and just run the cord along the side of the mirror and it works perfect.
