    • Good plug but a bit difficult to wire
You can wrap the wires around the j hooks on the tines to create a little strain relief. This takes a bit of patience to get all three on there. Good little plug as it matches the size, shape, and feel of the original plug. Most replacement plugs are large and bulky this one is not.

This plug is small - similar size to a moulded plug, which is great considering that it's a user-installable item. 4 stars because its size made it quite fiddly to put together, and it felt like it required a concerted effort to ensure that the wiring was safe inside. There are only basic guides around the screws for the exposed wire, which is then held in place by pushing the insulated portion into horizontal grooves on the rear of each prong - this provides a reasonably good+safe hold, which is important because there is no other cable restraint. Wrap the wire around the terminal but under the little lip so wire is more in middle of plug. More difficult than the big yellow replacement plugs but nice how slim it is.

1. No assembly instructions and it's not obvious how you are supposed to route the wires. 2. The terminal screws don't work well with stranded wire.

    • An Almost Perfect Plug Replacement
Easy to install this new outlet on to the battery charger cord that had lost the ground plug. The only bad thing is that there is no tension relief item on the back to keep tension off of the wires I connected to the terminals inside the plug. That's the only thing I would change.
