  • Love this camera!
Size: 2 Cameras Style: 5" Screen
We have the split screen one to be able to watch both kids and have not had any issues at all. Yes the sound lags just a little bit, but picture is clear and battery lasts a long time! It’s hard to find a good split screen camera without having to connect the internet, which we didn’t want for hacking reasons. I think people need to lower their expectations with this camera compared to the way more expensive cameras that have to be connected to WiFi. ... show more

  • Really bad
Size: 2 Cameras Style: 5" Screen
I purchased this monitor because of the wide angle shot, remote pan and tilt and split screen function. The wide angle was incredible and I could remotely move the camera which was great. But in 1 night of use there was so much else wrong with it that I packed it up and returned it the next day. The sound delay was at least 5 seconds. There was a very noticeable lag when viewing one camera. In the split screen view it was less of a lag and just still pictures of my baby every 2 seconds. On top of that the night light just came on randomly all night no matter how many times I turned it off. It was a waste of time to buy this monitor. I went with another one that does not have the wide angle I wanted but is not glitchy and has the basic functionality of a monitor! ... show more

  • Great monitor!
Size: 2 Cameras Style: 5" Screen
This monitor is amazing. Crystal clear picture. I love that night vision can be in color. Sometimes I wonder if I forgot to turn off the light. The 2 camera set up is nice! Sound is picked up very well. Very sensitive microphone! We've had 3 or 4 infant optics and a Motorola over the last 11 years and 5 kids. This one beats them all by a long shot. The only thing I don't like is a 1 second or so lag in sound and video. I hear the sound baby makes then I hear it in the monitor a second later. Not a huge deal, just kind of annoying at times. ... show more

  • Battery Lasts FOREVER!!!
Size: 2 Cameras Style: 5" Screen
This monitor has it's pros and cons but the battery life absolutely makes up for the cons. I took my monitor off the charger around 7:30PM. I forgot to plug it back in so it was on ALL night until my youngest woke up around 8:30AM. I turned it on again for their 2.5 hour nap and then again when they went to bed around 8PM. It wasn't until 1AM I got the alert that the battery was low. THAT'S A 19.5 HOUR BATTERY LIFE (if my math is mathing right...)! Definitely THE longest lasting baby monitor battery ever. I've Tried Baby Sense, Infant Optics, Summer Infant, Etc., all only lasting ~3hrs MAX. Pros: GREAT battery. Obviously High quality picture Split screen option Cons: Kind of laggy in general Extremely laggy when on split screen display The lowest sound setting is too loud and the highest sound setting isn't quite loud enough I WILL SAY, my children are now 3 and 5 so I don't rely on them as much as I did when they were infants. For infants, I 100% recommend the Infant Optics DXR-8 PRO. VERY reliable, clear and not laggy... but you WILL be charging often. I would NOT recommend Baby Sense. Their customer service is great, however, I went through FOUR monitors. They all had amazing display but would only last 1-3 weeks before shutting off and never turning back on. That is all. :) ... show more

  • Better for older kids, not babies
Size: 2 Cameras Style: 5" Screen
Let me start off by saying I have used 3 different brands of baby monitors, and of those three I guess this would rank 2nd. Pros: The picture is clear It has night lights in different colors you can control with the monitor It has motion activation and noise activation It has sounds you can turn on and off with the monitor It has the split screen, which is the entire reason I bought it for my 5 month old and 21 month old Cons: Basically only one but it is a deal breaker for me. YOU CANNOT SEE THEM BREATHING no matter how hard I tried to see if my 21 month old was breathing, I couldn't. I would have to go into her room and check, which defeats the purpose of the monitors completely! If that is something that doesn't bother you, then go for it! The monitor is great other than that. As for me I will stick with my Infant Optics DRX8 PRO. You can easily see them breathing, and it has ANR (active noise reduction). So when I have her sound machine on, I cannot hear it through the monitor. So I can clearly hear her when she talks to me, or cries! The only reason I tried switching to the Leap Frog, was so I didn't have to flip the screen back and forth as Infant Optics does not allow for split screen. However, I would rather flip them than not see them breathing! ... show more

  • Great Monitor and Love that it has 2 Cameras
Size: 2 Cameras Style: 5" Screen
Monitor works great and also integrates with the Leap Frog app so that I can see it on my phone. When unplugged the battery life of the monitor doesn't last super long, but since I can view on my phone I don't need to unplug it. Love the 2 cameras and views.

  • The BEST Monitor!
Size: 2 Cameras Style: 5" Screen
I bought the two camera system, and it’s amazing. I’ve had 2 other baby monitors, Motorola & Vtech and I’d recommend this one over any of them. The only down side is the vetch had a better picture when the baby is moving, the leapfrog kinda lags. Other than that it’s amazing. The picture is crisp, you can turn the night light on and off, the wide angle makes it super easy to see everything, the screen is the perfect size for running split screen. Seriously I highly recommend this product. ... show more

  • Night vision is awful
Size: 2 Cameras Style: 5" Screen
I ogled over this monitor for months before it went on sale and jumped to buy it. Needless to say, I wanted to love this monitor. The parent unit is amazing quality and feels sturdy, the camera's seemed to be good quality as well. Aside from the stated minuscule tilt degree on the description (which I didn't realize until I bought it), there are many other issues with this monitor. The nightlight on the camera turns on randomly (on the brightest white too), the night vision is nonexistent - my daughter looks like a blob on the screen - if she moves at all it either glitches and makes her movements look jumpy or it's such a blur it doesn't even look like she's there. On top of all of this there isn't a clock on the parent unit! I reached out to leapfrog directly and received no response. So incredibly disappointed with this monitor that claims to be high definition, I've returned it. ... show more
