The package came a little after the scheduled delivery date, but that was ok since it was during the holiday rush. I didn't need it in a hurry anyway. Once I did receive the lights I opened them and started the setup process. I do like the packaging and contents. It appears to have everything I need. Except maybe if I want to splice it. I unraveled the lights and connected them to power to make sure they worked. Then I begin the Wifi setup... it's a little tricky, but after following the steps in the instructions and using a bit of my own wit... I was able to get them connected. Setup with Amazon Alexa was pretty straight forward too. Since I purchased 2 boxes of lights, I made sure to give each strip a unique name. That way I can say to Alexa to change the color or turn on each one separately. If I run into any issue with mounting, I'll edit this post. But I don't think I will, they come with an adhesive backing and a few clips that screw into the wall that can hold them in place for long runs. The reason I haven't mounted the lights yet? I'm trying to design the best layout... Due to the adhesive backing.. it's like a one and done situation. I'm sure you can remove it.... but I bet it won't be as sticky. This strip lighting was perfect for my intended use as indirect lighting on top of my built-in entertainment center. The lights have a nice brightness to them and the color changing is nice, even if we will use it rarely. My only issue is that the wifi connection, which I use to control the lights via Alexa, is more unreliable than I was hoping for. The lights have been in place for two weeks and the Alexa connection has failed twice, requiring me to use the remote until I was able to reconnect the lights to the wifi properly. The lights do what I wanted at a very reasonable price. My only gripe is basically that I am occasionally inconvenienced. Worth the money. ... show more

I love these lights! They’re a little closer together and more come on a strip than most traditional LED strips. They’re so bright and I love how they border my room. I definitely recommend the longer version because these didn’t go very far across my wall, though.

3 stars because I absolutely LOVE these lights. Using Alexa I could change the color or turn them on or off with a few words. Add in the schedule for automatic on or off and it’s wonderful. Probably my favorite feature is the lights matching up to sounds, like music, for parties. Really adds a fun element. Now for the loss of two stars. This was purchased August 2021, and on NYE of 2022 I was setting up the music lights feature and it wouldn’t light up. We tested the plug and it was dead, no output. It also made a high pitched noice when plugged in. So just over one year of use, that’s not acceptable. I am purchasing a second set to see if this is just a weird circumstance or if it’s standard for the product. I will update as time goes on. ... show more

First, setup is simple. Alexa integration is simple. The adhesion is great, I lined the perimeter of my bedroom ceiling with these and despite having an "orange peel" textured paint finish they stuck easily and haven't moved since. What was most impressive and definitely a pleasant surprise for me was easily they allowed me to take corners. With so many brands the thickness and material of the strip can be so debilitating when laying them out any way besides straight. Bending some brands just slightly too much can ruin the color on an entire segment so it pretty much never matches the rest of the strip again. This issue was non existent when putting these up, no clips required (you can see multiple angle/direction changes in my picture). They add a cool touch to any room and the voice command works great and is pretty cool. ... show more

Purchased two boxes. First box had to be replaced the power cord didn't work (replaced order arrived in 1 day) The second box works very well. The area i places above my closet is 8 ft long. I honestly only needed the one strip. As two strips may be too bright. My phone doesn't give the lighting justice. My walls are sage green. The white is white and all the other colors worked very well. Well be installing in my other bedroom closet. Enjoy ... show more

This LED light was pretty easy to install, and the iPhone tool, remote control, and all the modes worked incredible. It definitely works with Alexa, and everything it informed. For about 3 months. I was doing school work on my desk until my lights turned into a different color, as I had it purple and became blue. Like everyone would, I took the remote and changed it to my preferred color. It did change back. However, it does turn back into blue after 30 seconds or less. I recognized that the weight on my desk (I had it set up on my desk) mattered. When I put heavier weight on, it goes back to purple, but when I remove the weight, it goes back to blue. I tried setting it to a different color, as I pressed green. It turned less bright and into a darker blue, same for the rest of the green shades. White didn’t work, neither did the rest. The music mode worked somehow. I restarted the LED lights by holding down the power button, and I need to figure out how to make it work again. (edit) so after 3 more months, I decided to reconnect it as an attempt on bringing it back to life. Little did I know, it somehow worked.
