My son loved them except we needed an extra 4’. Oh well. Use caution when taking the paper off of the sticky part. Both strips, the adhesive started coming off of the strip but, we still got it to work!

I added this to my kitchen and it looks amazing. I use it as a night light and a by-pass to using the brighter overhead lights. Interestingly you can also control some aspects of these lights with a Roku(R) remote. The adhesive is working very well. Easy to put up. Would be better it one strand could connect end-to-end into the other...they'll get there one day Im sure but a great buy 4 sure. ... show more

The remote didn't fully work; however, the company replaced it quickly and now it functions as it is supposed to. I use it for a night-light in my living room and the adjustable brightness is quite helpful with just enough light to see without being over bright. I would purchase again.

The media could not be loaded. We bought for under our kitchen cabinets. The colors were awesome and we loved it but after a few weeks they quit working and it was extremely disappointing and frustrating. Waste of money

Okay, so there's 2 different versions of this product. WEIGH YOUR OPTIONS This version + Comes with a remote + Fancy color changing style +Many colors to choose at the push of a button +Strip is coated with a gel-like substance; gives off no heat-to touch. -Adhesive is not incredibly strong -Due to the gel being on the strip to protect the LEDs and prevent warming, the strip is somewhat weighted, which is just enough to counter-act adhesive strength. -NO bolts provided to remedy this issue. -Stapling recommended to keep on the wall/ceiling Now there's another version just like this, again WEIGH YOUR OPTIONS +Thin strip with no gel coating, making the strip extremely light and maximizing adhesive strength. +Bolts and clamp downs provided, but not needed. -Having no gel coating means the strip is warm/very warm to touch -This version doesn't come with a remote, but instead a white button press that is at the end of the power line. -must go to the line to change colors or turn off/on - Cannot choose preferred color on a whim, you must cycle through them in order. -Doesnt have a fun color/shifting/fading mechanic, instead has 3-4 flashing routines, simulating a beat to music. -Approximately 8 colors. I've used leds in the past, but had to use cup hooks to hang them, these stick to whatever you put them on! I had to reposition the strip a couple times, still sticks great. The remote is perfect, and they work as my primary lighting in my studio apartment. This was a great choice.

    • HORRIBLE & MISLEADING Instructions!

Directions are HORRIBLE!! Indicates you can cut these at specified locations, what it FAILS TO MENTION is that if you cut them the rest of the strip does not work!! This makes me so angry, I bought them 12 year old son for Christmas, we checked the lights before installing and they worked, we read the brief instructions and were excited to see that they could be cut to fit the area he wanted around the room, we measured and careful installed. Plugged it back in and to our dismay only the first part worked. Couldn't figure out why it wasn't linking and I got on here to look into it only to find the much better instructions listed here! What the heck?!?! This was our first time with these type of lights and such a waste of time and money! The actual instructions with this product need to be more clear, I assumed (shame on me I guess) that since it showed you can cut it that you can and it still works somehow, I figured by some wireless connection. Now I can't seem to find a number to contact the company. I want a refund or new lights and the instructions to be more clear for other newbies like my son and I. ... show more
