Firstly, about Squadise: The first chair arrived damaged, with a very beaten up box. A bottom bracket was bent due to the treatment of the box, which made it impossible to assemble. Squadise really went above and beyond and shipped me an entirely new chair and said I could keep the first one despite me offering to ship it back, or simply receive the piece that was damaged to save them some money. Talk about service!!! This was clearly the fault of FedEx, and I sincerely hope Squadise was able to get shipping insurance to take care of it, as I'd prefer my money go to such an honest company rather than to FedEx which is very often careless with peoples stuff. ASSEMBLY: This is not the easiest thing to assemble in the world, but it's far short of the hardest. You need to be mindful of which way the arms go on, as they only go on one way or the bolts are not long enough to assemble it. I found it's much easier to attach the arms to the back of the chair first before the base. The bolts also have very fine threading, which means they're VERY particular about the angle you attempt to screw them in, and you need to be very precise. Apart from those little issues, it's pretty self explanatory, and it took me about 1/2 an hour to get together. COMFORT: The chair is probably best for people 5'8" and up, if you're any shorter your feet may not rest flat on the ground on the lowest position which isn't great for leg circulation. I am 6'1" and 207lbs, and this chair fits me like a glove. However, the base is the bog standard hydraulic cylinder size, so you can purchase a shorter replacement cylinder and lower the chair down if it's too high for you. CONCLUSION: My back is kind of garbage because I spend a lot of time sitting down, as I work in IT, and after a few hours of sitting in this chair my back feels better than it did before I sat down. It really encourages good posture, and unlike other "posture" chairs, this one feels much more natural and not like it's forcing you to sit correctly. For the price, I'm very satisfied, as the chairs I looked at locally were $200+ for the same quality of material, and most were not as comfortable as this until you were looking in the $300+ range.     • Great chair, but I don't quite fit well in it
This is a very nice chair, and it's quite well-made. It has good padding and PU leather and stitching. For me, personally, it's more of a 4 star item, as I don't fit right in it, but if you are a little shorter and broader than me, you would probably fit nicely. I am about 6 foot tall and thin, and my knees come over the end of the chair a couple of inches, and the arms are too far wide that I have to fit my arms out on the armrests. If you were about 5'10 and 180 lbs., then I think this chair would probably be a perfect fit. 5 stars because it is a very nice chair, even if it does not fit me personally quite right. ... show more

Chair is great. Ordered 4 to use at our game table. What the directions don’t tell you is that you shouldn’t tighten armrest screws to the seat unti you attach back to armrests. I figured that out after putting the first one together. Also, chair size is not for anyone under appx. 5’10”. My feet just barely sit flat on the floor and my wife’s feet don’t touch even when adjusted all the way down. Overall, easy to assemble and very comfortable with very good lumbar support. I love the design and feel of this chair. The padding is cushiony but not too squishy; I feel this padding wont compress to a rock after lots of use. All the moving parts work, doesnt look cheap at all, stitching and staples are well placed and show no signs of coming undone, assembly was a bit of a pain, but I managed 💪. (2 person assembly recommended) Overall I have no issues with this chair as of 01/09/2019 and am eager to do some hardcore gaming in it! - Added side note because it irritated me. This chair had a $30 off coupon 2 days before I recieved it (10 days before I already bought it...) Much anger, all the frustration, but its a good chair so its okay. - ... show more

Like the chair but a section of the side was torn and some of the stitching is already coming apart. Not sure if this happened when the chair was packaged so for that I give it 3 stars mainly because I paid a good deal of money for it and would expect it free from any damage. This was horrible. One the left arm screw points was faulty so the arm cannot be screwed in all the way upon assembly. So it is uncomfortable to use with only one working arm. Save you money. I hate buying expensive cheap crap.

I am 5'5", a little short for this chair but it is so comfortable. The ergonomics are great. The lumbar support is noticable right away. I have no more pain in my back and hips. I also like the built in messager. Assembly was easy. The arms were a little tricky but I figured out a good system to get all four screws in place.
