The media could not be loaded. First off I purchased this laser because I am frivolous. Nothing more. My wife would agree. The set up was super easy and I was already lazing my first item within 15 minutes of opening the box. You have to download the lazerpecker app. There are 2 apps. One is a basic one and one is a (studio) app with more options. It connects over Bluetooth to the app with ease. I have tried layering basically everything I own at this point. From yeti mugs that are powered coated to glass, metal, and wood. It does work on metal just fine you might just have to make multiple passes. I have not used any other lasers but this thing is speedy fast. The quality is that of an Apple product. Very high quality aluminum build and I believe that is part of the expensive cost. Should you purchase it? I can’t decide for you but at the hefty price tag I would only purchase it if you plan on selling items or doing custom orders. It takes up little space and looks great sitting next to my desk. Also if you plan on buying this make sure you have a garage or outdoor area to use it in as you definitely do not want to use this in your home. Depending on what you are layering it smells terrible. This is a great little galvo laser. It is a smaller work area than some, and a little bit less powerful than others. As long as your expectations are within what it advertises for material, it works fantastically. It is not designed nor does it claim to engrave on bare metal, but coated metal, would, slate, cork all work great.     • NO SUPPORT FOR MONTHS? Updated - gets worse, support horrible

I’m going to cut to the chase. The software is complete garbage. You want to make a simple change before you engrave? No problem - start over from the beginning. That’s not exaggeration. Want to line up material for engraving? Can’t use magnetic pieces to align repetitive engraves… want to engrave again after you did one? Maybe it will let you, maybe it won’t. It disconnects from Bluetooth often. The roller assembly is a joke. Items repetitively skip while rotating, making it impossible to engrave. The adjustable stand is finicky… The built in focus lever? Yeah it’s accurate about 50% of the time. Sorry but this just won’t do. It’s now a paper weight. And I’m out over $1000 counting accessories. Update 1/14/2025 If you have issues, they will first offer you an insulting discount on a newer model, like $200 off their $4000 LP5. If that won’t fly, you will need to spend countless days and weeks attempting to get a reply about your concerns. When you eventually get a reply, you will be asked to spend countless hours working with their technicians to diagnose the issues even though you already know what the issues are in great detail. This will span several days as well, with spotty almost non existent responses once again. Negative stars Amazon? Please implement negative stars Update 2/8/2025 Company has been out almost a month with Chinese New Year. No help, no support, I have been unable to use the expensive paperweight for months now. Avoid at all costs folks Update 3/1/2025 NO ONE has reached back out to me regarding my issues. I waited for the Chinese new year to end, and still nothing. XTool, Glewphy, Wecreate, these are ALL better options with much better support and care about their customers ... show more
