The media could not be loaded. I used a phone holder that is attached to a car vent. It also used a magnetic method to hold a phone, but it didn't have a strong power, so sometimes it would fall off when encountering a big bump. On the other hand, this holder has magnets about the size of MagSafe, so the force is strong, and there's no worry about it falling off. Even when attaching the phone to the mount and pulling out the charging cable directly, the phone stays in place. The force is really strong. For older iPhones without MagSafe or other company products, you can attach a metal plate. Even when you rotate the phone left or right after attaching it, it sticks firmly, which is very satisfying. However, the mount may loosen after about 1-2 months. In that case, you just need to tighten it again by turning the knob at the back. After using it for about 4 months, a black plastic film on the mount start to fell off. The absence of that film doesn't affect the performance, just doesn't look as good aesthetically. ... show more

Good product that does what it says. The fastening mechanism is a little bulky but ultimately does not harm the vent or the phone. I love the hook attachment functionality, I used to have car mounts but they would always fall off when the car hit a bump because they had just a tension clasp that wasn't reliable. So frustrating! I've had this in my car for a few months now and it is just as sturdy as the first day I installed it, even though you reef on it more as it is magsafe and has pretty strong magnets. Also, it's compatible with magsafe popsockets! I didn't think it would fit with the popsocket but I was surprised it fit perfectly around it. I thought I would have to remove my popsocket to use the mount, but I can just pop it right on top of the popsocket as it also has magnets built in. It's not written anywhere in the description but it should be! ... show more
