The phone holder is a tight grip so your phone is always secure. And the grips have an opening in them allowing you to charge your phone without removing it. I used it for my Google pixel 7 with a somewhat thick case on it, and it fit as well! I really liked that you could tilt the phone and rotate it easily to accommodate whatever you're using it for. WE travelled over 2300 miles using it and on all types of roads. It never vibrated grossly hindering my watching a movie. I would highly recommend this car phone holder device. It's made very sturdy!
