Initial thoughts: perfect. Took me 35 mins to unbox and assemble. If you’ve done any ikea furniture then you’ll agree this is a piece of cake to put together. Tips: be patient with the wheels when inserting. You want to put less pressure on the wheel and more on the stem to leverage them in. For arms I started with gently screwing the upper screw first to hold it in place BUT don’t tighten it. You’ll need a little slack on the bottom screw hole to get it to align with the bottom seat. Once placed tighten them as usual but be weary of over tightening and cutting into fabric. I really wanted the leather option, but opted for fabric (my cat is weird about leather), and I am not disappointed. It’s soft microfiber that’ll probably last longer. Color is the perfect light beige neutral. It tilts, it spins, it’s comfortable :D win! ... show more

Man I am so happy with my new chair! Compared to the cheap chair I had this is so nice. You can tell it’s a quality product. I work from home and after 8+ hours neither my back nor butt hurt anymore like they used to with my previous chair. The padding is so comfortable Almost like sitting on a couch. Lumbar support is great as well. You can have it low or high and recline it if you want. And it’s made out of fabric and not leather, which was the main thing that attracted me to it other than the brand name and look of the chair. Assembling it was a breeze as well. The only negative is that it does have a weird smell, I don’t know how to describe it, but I’m hoping it goes away with time. I’ve had it for 4 days and actually look forward to work so I can sit in my chair 🤣 Update: Ok, so I’ve had the chair for about 8 months now and the weird smell I was talking about is gone. I still love my chair and find it as comfortable as I did on day one. It still looks great as well and I use it quite a bit as I still work from home full time. I no longer look forward to work though 😂 ... show more

Really disappointed. I had tried another chair by La Z Boy in a store and was shocked at the poor seat cushioning and positioning. Decided to get a “better” version online instead. While it looks good, I felt so uncomfortable within minutes and started to feel pain by mid morning. Fortunately, I kept my old chair and will return this one. I purchased this as an open box item and am so happy with it! It did have 1 tiny little tear (seen in last photo) but I dont mind because I saved a lot of money via purchasing open box. I am 5ft even and so the back of the chair is a perfect height for me. If you are a tall person, then you will likely benefit from purchasing a "Big & Tall" version of this chair that has a higher back to it. Unfortunately, the chair does not go low enough for my feet to rest comfortably on the ground. I purchased a little soft sided foot rest and it works great. I do feel like the chair could use some more lumbar support, but it is really great overall. I sit in it for 8+ hours on the days that I work and it definitely is comfortable the whole time. I wish I could have found open box in the cream leather, but no complaints here about my chair. ... show more

I bought two of these for my office after going through 2 office chairs off of amazon in the last 2 years (that simply tore or broke). The boxes for these chairs were delivered with big tears and the second box had the screws missing. I will return the second chair and keep one I already assembled. I go through a chair every year it seems, but I think this one will last longer. Pros - the chair looks nice with the quilted design - the chair has nice material (guessing it is leather or that bonded leather not sure) - the chair is solidly built - the wheels and metal base / arms should last - easy to assemble Cons - box / packaging is poor - the chair is not a high back chair as it is advertised. I thought that it would support the full back and neck area, it just about covers the back. - the comfort is mediocre, I will see if I can tolerate it for 8 hours a day. The base seat seems like the cushion will give after an hour or so and you need to let it "reinflate" by not sitting on it. The back position does not have sufficient inclination so you sit a little too forward for comfort - the recline feature does not lock into a position. I miss that feature from my older chairs. This also does not recline as far back as I would like - not as tall and wide as I would like. this is less of a primary chair, more of a secondary office chair for visitors ... show more

    • Unbelievably Comfortable - Soft, Supportive, Ergo, Maneuverable & Easy Assembly

Hi, I've never sat in a chair and said "ahh" because it was that comfortable. This one made me do just that! It takes all the back strain away on the git-go. Supportive back and the bottom cushion is like never ending cushion, but yet supportive. The higher back is just perfect to lean into without giving up keeping your eyes on the screen. Lumbar support fantastic! Roomy on both sides, and the arms are also padded and easy to rest your arms down to let your wrists and inside hands curl around the ends without hard edges to rest on. Raises to a great level for elevated computer screen work. Caster rollers are really smooth too. Quality feel of all the machined pieces also. I'm a chick, and it was easy to assemble, just followed the directions and didn't rush it. Got the material version of this chair. The material has a rich soft feel and the color blends as it's a neutral. Highly Highly Recommend this as a great quality chair. ... show more
