... AWESOME! I bought and assembled TWO chairs first. The initial chair was by this same company, Colamy, and it was absolutely terrible, no padding, sloped-down seat, just real cheap, but it WAS also only $146. So, I guess, like tennis shoes, when it comes to office chairs, you get what you pay for, EXCEPT ... the second chair cost over $350! The maker was Bowman. And it was the hardest, most uncomfortable chair I have ever taken a seat in. It was no different than sitting on a rock at the river. Then, to beat all, I noticed that one of the plastic arms had broken in half and was only being held in place by one of the screws. I got my money back for that one, and the seller didn't even want me to return it, so in the trash it went. I was about to give up until, at the last moment, I chose to watch a couple of video reviews of this chair, which Amazon had inserted, quite conveniently, into my feed. Since it was the same maker of my first chair, I was hesitant to put faith in all the positive reviews, written AND filmed, and make the purchase. Heck, I was hesitant to even open the listing in the first place. Well, I desperately needed a chair, so I bit the bullet and went for it! Okay ... this chair kicks butt, man! It's just like the softest, most plush, overstuffed sofa you could imagine. I'm only average height at 5'9", but I used to be a body builder, so I AM stocky, and this chair is perfect. I have a lot to say about this Colamy big and tall chair. It feels very heavy duty, every part feels like a quality piece of furniture. The box showed up and was very large and very heavy. The UPS driver was not looking forward to bringing it to the third floor. When you're sitting in it, it really feels like a couch as far as comfort. It's very spacious and comfortable in every way. The seat is spacious and thick, the inflatable lumbar support is fabulous, and the wide arms are very comfortable. I'm disabled. and feel that not only is this chair great for big and tall. (500# capacity) but also easy to climb in and out of. If you needed a chair that you could climb from a wheelchair into, I feel that you will be happy with the size and sturdiness of this chair. With all the pros of this chair and not finding any cons, why didn't I give this chai 5 stars? I'll answer that for you. This chair is worth 5 stars, the best one I have found in my 62 years. But this one had a cut in the seat and don't see how it got there. The box was in good shape and wasn't cut in any way. Must of happened before it was boxed from manufacturing. There is no way I can get this anywhere even if I could box it back up to send it back, a piece of black duct tape will have to suffice and I hope the cut doesn't expand and get larger. I hope this review was helpful to you. I used a picture from the web so you would know exactly what chair I was talking about because I couldn't take a picture atm. This chair is worth the money and I would defiantly purchase it again and request the tear not to be there LOL. ... show more

No chair is as comfortable and long-lasting as this one, and I've tried several brands and varieties of chairs. Their customer service is also incredible. One of my cats took a piece out of my chair (an aesthetic cap to hide a screw) and instead of just sending me a cap, they gave me whole free arm of the chair to replace, if needed (FOR FREE). I may actually end up buying two more in the future (one for my wife when we get a bigger place, and another for me, as my cats have continually scratched it to pieces...). That being said, it's quite affordable and has been my longest, most comfortable chair out of the many, many chairs that I've tried. I mean, I'm sure there are better chairs out there, but leave it to affordability to allow to try one and actually like and keep this one.
