This is a pretty sweet and convenient front end service kit! When a hammer isn’t the answer or will not work for whatever I am doing this is the kit that I need to have at the ready. I should have got one years ago. I am really happy to have this one and it has already saved me trips to town to “rent a tool” from the part store like I usually do. I am a Contractor and Business Owner and I work on and service all of our vehicles and equipment and I’m at the point where I have talked myself into owning stuff like this because ultimately it will save me time and money in the long run. This kit is solid. Nothing cheap about any of the pieces included and I have had no issue with the threading on any of the pieces. I just grease or oil them up before putting them to use on something and everything has worked out identically to a “rental” kit. I have absolutely zero complaints about his kit and I am very happy with the assortment of tools and the options this gives me in the shop. It is really nice to have the tool that I need, ON HAND, at the very moment I need it and not have to stop, drive somewhere, get a rental tool, drive back and then get back into the swing of things and back working on it again. Even the case that this comes with is decent. No it is not the end all be all of cases but it is much, MUCH better than I expected it to be and everything fits in it properly and it stays closed without stuff flopping around inside. Overall, I would order this one again, so it is a recommended item. The options this gives me and the convenience of having it on hand and ready to go surpasses my threshold for cost/value analysis and this is definitely a plus to have around. It is well made and the tools have not broken, even though I had my doubts initially and during 2 things I was doing with them….but they held strong and did the work and are ready to go for more. In my opinion, for the price, this is an affordable kit that can pull its weight and it is one of those things that will pay for itself the first time, just one of the tools is used. A+ all the way on this one. The price at the time of this review is $45.99 minus a 5% coupon = $43.69! That's less than the deposit on a rental tool kit anywhere in the country and I own the kit at the end! I like it. ... show more

This kit looks great. There are others all over Amazon and they all likely coming from the same factory in China. Probably the same thing that you can get from Harbor Freight or other auto store brands. So what--if it works, it works! I looked these over and they do appear to be forged with some kind of painted coating. The hardened screws thread nicely and appear undamaged.
