  • Fun little cart. Great comfort control levers
Great little seat. My daughter loves it. She can ride it without falling off. It does make the hover board go Fast! So be careful....great fun tho!

  • Terrible instructions
This was the hardest thing I've ever put together. None of the parts illustrated in the instructions match the physical parts so it took almost an entire day to build.

  • A blast! My kid absolutely adores this.
The media could not be loaded. It's a pretty big deal when our 11yo likes something, even though it's pink, let me tell you. We got this 'hoverkart' conversion kit for a 6.5" wheel hoverboard hoping it would encourage our quarantween to get out of the house more often. We assembled it together as a project, and had it out in the park on the very next day. Assembly is one of the reasons I deducted one star, primarily for the instructions. They're a bit vague, printed with little contrast, and don't really address how to strap on to the board. That being said, following these steps will get you through with no fuss. 1. Slide the tubes together and screw in the adjustment knob. I adjusted the front bar so that my kid's knees were bent at about a 100-120º angle for comfort and stability. 2. Use the four long bolts to attach the handles. The handles are symmetric, so it doesn't matter which side. 3. Use the four short bolts to attach the seat. 4. Loosen the two bolts on the hoverboard attach brackets so the brackets slide. Flip the whole assembly upside down so the brackets are facing up. 5. Lay the hoverboard in position so that it's centered and the front is facing the right direction. 6. Slide on the four rubber sleeves so the bracket doesn't scratch the hoverboard, then slide the bracket in until it snugly cradles the hoverboard without allowing the hoverboard deck to lift up. 7. Tighten the two bolts. 8. Thread a velcro strap through one of the bracket slots (loop side up) and fold it back to secure it. If it's long enough, thread the other side through the other slot. If not, attach a second strap to the first to make a long one. You'll also find that lifting up the hoverboard at this step makes threading easier. 9. Pull the strap as taut as you can and fold it back to secure the second end. 10. Ride around a bit, then re-tighten the straps. Once you've got this done, you're ready to go have fun. Riding this was a blast, as you can see by the video. It's not really appropriate for large adults, and the box does say '30Kg Max' on it, but my kid was just fine. Sometimes the weight sensors on the board thing there's a person on it, and it tends to want to run away from you if this happens and the board isn't completely level. Sometimes you can angle the board too far and its internal sensors will cause an error condition, thinking you've fallen. Both of those things are easily mitigated with a bit of practice - my kid had it figured out in about 5 minutes. The only thing that could stand some improvement (other than the instructions) is the front wheel. It's literally just a urethane swivel caster, which results in a very rough ride on any uneven surface, though is fine on concrete and asphalt. We may upgrade it with a pneumatic wheel at some point for a smoother ride, and maybe paint some flames on it. We are considering getting a second one for my nephew's birthday, and likely will. ... show more

  • Fun but needs extra adjustment
We bought this for our granddaughters hoverboard. Initially, attaching it was challenging because the seat didn't provide electrical contact with the hoverboard. My brilliant son-in-law added foam beneath the straps to create contact points between the two and then my granddaughter flew on it (occasionally sharing it with her dad!) After four months of use, the velcroed straps ceased to hold the seat to the board. A local hardware store supplied rubber straps which now hold the board and seat together. It has provided hours of fun, but requires constant adjustments to keep it working. ... show more

  • Not what I expected
There wasn’t any instructions on the proper way to attach to hoverboard. Need an adult to tighten the straps properly in order for it to work the correct way. If not, will not be able to operate hoverboard.
