  • Pros,Cons, Vital information...
Pros, it eliminates constant oversight compared to a twin tub. It's small enough to put away when not in use but large enough to keep out if you choose. If you push pause, you can reset the water level or program. Very convenient to place drain hose where you need, whether it's in a sink, toilet,or tub. It ships well protected by lots of Styrofoam. Instructions are easy to read and common knowledge of washers usually indicates no need for instructions. If you're not accustomed to washers, educate yourself first. Cons. Doesn't clean as well as a twin tub. Doesn't spin dry like a twin tub. Takes far longer for clothes to dry. Basically, it's much like a large washer at home or at laundromats. So if you're used to those, this does the same pretty much, just not as big of loads. Vital information: First off,I've read and seen lots of reviews of the krib being washers (and other portable washers) and lots of complaints about them leaking. Very easy fix before you even consider testing it out. Last thing you want is a floor full of water, so pay close attention. Again, it's a common complaint. 1, The water inlet doesn't need to be replaced. Not unless you want a longer one. It does come with the attachment to attach directly to your faucets. If Your faucet is a different type, you may need to order one, but I have the basic ones from America. What you do need to replace is the inner seal (washer) that attaches to the washer itself, not the sink end (white end goes to washer, gray to faucet). Refer to image that is circled inside the tub with the yellow lines at the top as well. That piece already has a seal,it's worthless. Get one for a few cents (much cheaper than another hose people get assuming it's a faulty hose) that is the same diameter but slightly thicker (taller) in height . The one installed is easily removable, so take it with you to use as comparison. Reason: the one that's installed goes below the lip inside, which causes the leak. It should go slightly OVER it. Than install another one that they provide for you (they provide 2). Make sure you tighten the hose to prevent leaking at both the hose end and the washer inlet end. If it leaks at the faucet portion, make sure that is threaded to the sink correctly, tight and hose not pulled to the side any. 2nd. Refer to images that says view from bottom, view from back panel. Another common complaint is they leak under the washer. Think of the travel it takes to get to you and the testing it goes through before it's shipped. Things will get loose, especially plastic parts. You can get to this by the bottom or better yet, remove the 2 screws from the back panel and pop off the panel. More hands room and sight this way. The portion circled in blue needs to be tightened. Mine was so loose, I would've had a flood in my floor. You could easily remove it and add thread tape, but it's not necessary. I would keep an eye on it after so many ways though to make sure it's still tight as there is a lot of rock n rolling that occurs during spin cycles. Do not glue it on a it'll make things far more difficult later to replace simple cheap parts, Which will then become more expensive and complicated. Double check all your houses and clamps. A kindergarten can do this. Save yourself the hassle later. There's a portion that has white felt and electric tape on a hose. Reason. I assume it's to prevent rubbing against the other tube during washing,to prolong the life of the tubes. Leave it. If after years of use, you do eventually need to change the short tube in front of it, make it longer and attach it to the back of the washer (I think the manufacturer would benefit doing this themselves before selling), this will prevent future replacement aside of typical plastic decay that happens over time naturally. Now before starting your first load, select the lowest level of water and check all your hoses. Pause, select spin then start again so it drains so you can check those, without waiting forever to check water leakage from the inlet and drain. Note: if you watch it from behind while testing, you should have no leaks now. Keep the back panel off until all is clear. However, many other complaints is no hose or drum leakage but they still get water on their floor. So, I tested the machine and found out why. Be careful not to have more water then necessary to do your wash. If you selected a higher level of water then you actually needed, pause, select the right level, start. It'll drain what's not needed. The reason people are having water on the floor without a 'cause' is because of the water splashing has to go somewhere if you have to much water or it's too full. If you watch from the back and look up, you'll see the water splashing. The photo with the yellow lines at the top explains why. There's a huge gap between the top of the machine to the drum and the sides. This is to allow the drum to move, and it moves alot as there's also a balancer in it (huge place, especially during spin cycles!). You'll notice the spin cycle starts slow, then slower, then higher, and repeat multiple times sometimes until it balances the clothes for the actual full spin cycle. ALSO NOTE: Once I did all this (took less then ahalf hour to do) and had zero leak aside of the basic water droplets from testing on purpose the water splashes and its final destination of where it goes (the floor), I was actually very impressed with this machine as it does behave and clean like the larger ones. Please do not overfill these machines, you lesson is lifetime and puts more strain on it then there should be and your clothes will not come out clean because of your error, not the error of the product itself. I did not test spin cycling clothes again after the I initial wash cycles to see if it'll come out dryer then it does. The twin tub one spoiled me as they're nearly bone dry or takes about a half hr in the dryer to completely dry them. Yesterday took and hr and half to dry one load. So to be fair, until I try the spin cycle again, after the initial wash cycles, I can't say it doesn't do as well as the twin tubs, but I can say, 5 minutes on the twin tub spin cycle verses the spin cycle with normal wash on these, is a dramatic difference. Again, it's just like a larger washer, including the spin cycles, I was just spoiled with how well the twin tub spin cycles are. Also, the filter is not the same. Again, it's alot like the larger washers, which doesn't do crap for fur and lint,lol... your dryers do that. But in a twin tub one, they do pretty well removing the lint. These can be modified easily though. (Pay attention manufacturers). Simply cut a small slit in each of the plastic screen on the front that's preventing the entrapment of lint with a hobby knife or bix cutter. Add screen or fine mesh much like on the twin tubs filters between the front and the backside (it opens up,refer to photos). Wallah, problem solved and now it has an actual function. I did 5 loads yesterday when I got it, to test the tar out of it. Not one piece of lint or fur was in it. Not 1. And I have GS's and there's always fur and lint on all the other filters, just not this one. All in all, for the money, convenience and size, it's a great purchase. In fact great price compared to other places you buy these at. Just be sure to do your vital checks as I mentioned above, to prevent agitation, leaks and anger later. Trust me, you want to enjoy your product not be disappointed soon as you get it. Easy fixes, takes no time at all. You'll spend more time adjusting to the settings then you will just curing the innitial problems from the start. ... show more

  • Used!
Had my brother come over to take a look at the washer. And he took off the back and it is completely used.. you can tell it was a used washer. Even when I opened the lid I thought it had a strange smell. But I was thinking extra. Unfortunately I was sent a used washer. I'm so upset.

  • Love it!
I don't know how I lived without this. It works like a regular washer just smaller loads and connects easily to the sink. Comes with everything you need to use it.

  • Product accessories not adequate
The machine itself functions well...but it came w. Scratches on the product...the power cord too short...drain hose too short..it's supposed to be portable...but you can't move it around because the power cord is less than 2 feet long...and the drain hose about equal. I had to purchase an extension drainage hose and an extension power cord...VERY INCONVENIENT. ... show more

  • Love this great little machine
I've done three loads so far and absolutely love this washer. First off, it arrived a WEEK early, and assembly was quite easy. Do pay attention to the washers that are included for the hose connections. Several people have complained about leaks, but if you put the correct size washer in each end and make sure your connections are nice and snug, for me anyway, not a drop has leaked. The capacity is great for this size of portable machine and the various water level and programmed cycles are so easy to navigate. Lastly... the noise. There is hardly a peep from this thing while it's running. The spin cycle is a bit noisier, but completely expected. The water draining into my kitchen sink is the loudest part of the whole process. I love this washer!!... if you're on the fence about this one.... buy it!!! ... show more

  • I've had this under two months
So it doesn't spin anymore it has not been a full two months and it has absolutely stopped spinning. It doesn't even drain. So two hundred dollars down the drain. If you get this you might as well get the insurance. I got a bucket of soaked clothes and a washer that won't spin or drain. It gets one extra star because before today it did what it needed to do. ... show more

  • Large capacity
The washing machine is very easy to install and can be used as soon as it is connected. It is small and exquisite. The bathroom space is small, so it can just fit this washing machine. The washing machine has a large capacity and can hold a lot of clothes. The washing speed is very fast. The clothes are washed very cleanly and the noise is relatively small. I feel very good after using it a few times. ... show more
