Hooks up easily to kitchen sink. Machine is surprisingly quiet. There is a quick wash setting that uses a set amount of water, but for other modes, you will need to select water fill level. The machine will stop filling on its own, unlike similar style washing machines. Previously was using a camper washer with a separate spin and wash basin. This combines both steps into one. There is a spin cycle to get out excess water if you want to line dry instead of using a dryer. Very little detergent is needed for results. Purchased a dolly for transporting throughout my apartment. Just make sure on first use that the drain hose is very secure as mine popped off the first time and there was quite the flood in the kitchen. For first use, I recommend being present to ensure secure attachments. Since that one incident, I have had no issues. The machine is very quiet and the spin cycles produce a light vibration, but nothing compared to the spinning of my previous machine. I use mine several times a week and have not noticed an increase in electric bill. Highly recommend this product. This machine is fantastic so far! Granted I just got it a few days ago, but was easy enough to set up and troubleshoot. Washes my clothing very well. The noise is moderate, but I keep it in my bathroom with the door closed so it’s not a deal breaker. One thing to watch out for is the part of the machine where the inlet hose attaches to. It is plastic so if the hose is not threaded on correctly you can very quickly strip the threads and essentially ruin a very crucial part. I had my mom help me with a pipe wrench and electrical tape to ensure it was attached correctly and I wasn’t stripping the connection. Other than that I am completely thrilled with this machine. I'm living full time in a motorhome solo and I got sick of going to sketchy laundromats. Half the machines aren't working or they leave something weird on your clothes. I've spent a lot of time accumulating quarters in some cases. I don't have this appliance in a 'permanent' setup yet, I just drag it over to a faucet that I put the right adapter on, and let it drain into the bathtub. It doesn't have wheels, but the handholds on the sides are great and if you really want to you could likely pick the whole thing up to move it over a few feet or shuffle it to where you need to go. I am not a huge guy and I usually opt to pick the whole thing up to move it in one go, waddling down the hall. This washer is fairly quiet and does NOT leak water. The air moving out of my AC sounds louder than this appliance. Its not as large as a normal washer so I will generally just put all dirty laundry right in the bucket, and wash when it looks full. I like the size for one person, and I don't want a big appliance taking up space. I usually run the spin dryer cycle 2x because I don't have a dryer. The clothes dry quickly even just hanging in my motorhome with AC running. Nothing is dripping after the spin dry. I often have a lot of fuzz stuck on my clothes and I have to use a lint roller, but that's probably just me. There is a lint collector in the bucket and I have found that it does work decently. Something I will modify in the future is the lid sensor. If you open the lid even a little, the system will shut off and you have to reset the program/cycle. It hasn't been a huge problem because I hardly ever forget to put something in the bucket, but it led to a few 'long sighs' lol. I sometimes have an issue where the tank doesn't drain after a wash cycle. If I run any of the programs though, it will check the water level and drain the water first. So, usually I'll just let it go through another quick wash cycle to rinse that previous water out if its been sitting, then if it doesn't drain again, it will once I select the spin dry program. I looked at these kind of washers and the reviews for many months before deciding to purchase one, and this was my choice. It took me a while to pull the trigger because one aspect of ordering big appliances is that if the item doesn't work for some reason, it can be a huge hassle sending it back for a replacement or return. ... show more

I bought this so I didn't have to carry laundry up and down two sets of stairs (getting older). This fits perfectly in the upstairs bath. Every things looks and smells clean so far except for the whites. I had to wash those on they heavy cycle twice to get them as clean as my standard size washer does with hot water. After the air dry cycle, the clothes dry in a couple of hours indoors. I pointed a fan at the clothes on a drying rack and it dries fairly quick. I have one complaint about the drain hose. It seems to be made of a cheap quality material and no matter how many times I reconnect it, there still is some minor leakage at the machine end so I keep a towel under it. I got a little dolly to go under the machine and that makes it a lot easier to move. Be sure the get the kind that has locking wheels. ... show more

    • Pump stopped after 5 loads

I absolutely loved this washer up until it stopped working after about five loads of laundry. It cleaned my laundry well but was very loud. After about the fifth load of laundry, it started leaking from the bottom of the washer and I smelt something burning. It stopped pumping out the water from the washer, so I did it manually. After that, I leaned the washer on its side to look at the bottom where all the electrical was located. The pump was extremely warm and smelled like burnt plastic. If the washer worked longer, I would’ve loved it. Additionally, If you want to return the washer, you’re able to, but you must REQUEST a refund only after you’ve already returned your item. This meaning you may not get a refund if they don’t want to. This is unlike any other Amazon return I have dealt with where you just return the item and it automatically sends you the money back as soon as it is received. The regular model finally knocked out on me after 3 yrs of use. Paid 239 originally so an extra 30-40 bucks for double the capacity is worth it. Get the warranty if this will be your everyday washer. I'm in a one bedroom apt and it fits in the bathroom fine.
