  • Awesome Apartment Washer!
Style: 0.9 Cu. Ft. Washer
I love my little washer. It is easy to use, perfect for smaller loads and does a fantastic job. The spin cycle really get the excess water out of the clothes so it's easy for me to throw them in my little dryer and dry pretty quickly. It even handles towels and jeans very well. I would recommend this washer. If you have a family, then you might want to consider the next size up for 11 pounds of clothes, as this one handles just 6.6 pounds. Perfect for a single person. After you complete your wash and are getting ready to store it up, I would recommend you let out the water that is still in the tubes -- the one that connects to the faucet, and also the drain tube (for the spin cycle). I take a pan and put it on the floor, then take the drain tube from the sink and lower it into the pan (the tube will be horizontal almost parallel to the floor). Shake it a bit and let gravity force the water out. There's not too much, but just enough that you would want to remove it before storing the unit. I did purchase a few items to use with the washer, which I found from watching Julia Caban videos on YT. They have really helped. I purchased a dolly platform for the washer with bigger wheels which makes it super easy to transport it into my kitchen and go over all the different surfaces easily. I can't comment on the actual wheels on the washer because I haven't used them. When I'm done, I let the unit air out a bit, and then I have a cover to place over it. It's a waterproof cover designed for outdoor smokers which comes in tan or black. I got the tan one and it blends right in with my things. Since I don't have a closet to put it in, I store the washer with the cover by the front door next to my coats, and no one can tell what it is! Believe it or not, it is out of the way and unobtrusive. I also wanted to know how much electricity the unit uses, so I got smart plugs from BN-Link. I am AMAZED how little this costs me and how much money I have saved versus using the regular washers in our community laundry room. For 8 large loads on the heavy cycle with 2 rinses, it cost me $1.75 total in electricity for BOTH the washer and the dryer, versus $14.00 in the laundry room. I figure 8 loads in this machine is like 4 loads in the regular washers. Btw, I don't pay for water separately. My water bill is included in the utilities for the apartment complex and is not per individual apartment usage. It's divided up by the # of units and occupancy. So this little washer unit has been the best purchase ever! I am extremely happy with it and have recommended it to my friends. I hope this review has been helpful to you. ... show more

  • Large enough for a queen size blanket plus
Style: 2.0 Cu. Ft. Washer
UPDATE: This is a fantastic washing machine. Mine is still running strong and does a great job. Don't worry about the quality of this machine. This size can wash my queen size sheets easily. It handles my throw rugs, too. My only complaint is that when measuring to check clearances in my rv's closet, I didn't leave room for the hoses so it's too tight a fit for me to use the whole closet because I can't slide the inside door open. Drat. I wanted a machine that could accommodate sheets and pillowcases for a queen sized bed. This is larger than what is required. It will easily wash 3 pair of jeans, 3 pair of denim shorts and 3 shirts. Maybe more. I'm surprised that it can also manage my poofy mattress pad. This is an impressive washing machine. It is very quiet and stable. There is very little rattling when it enters the rinse mode and when spinning at full speed. It's a snap to install, but it is heavy. My clothes come out no different than they did in the larger machines. The "quick" setting on a medium size load takes just 22 minutes! A full load on "normal" takes 37 minutes. The longest setting takes 57 minutes. The bottom of the tub is a plastic shield and the sides are stainless. There is a small, easily accessible filter on the side of the tub that needs to be emptied every 2 or 3 loads. The tiny wheels on the back might be inadequate considering it is supposed to be portable. If you are going to move it around your place, save your back, get a wheeled stand. There is no way I could manage this thing without help. It weighs 80 pounds. I'm glad I chose this machine knowing that it is distributed by an American company that offers some service if there are issues. There are a number of other off brands that cost as much as 30% less, but after reading the negative reviews, I discovered if there are any issues with damage during shipping, or with the machine, the cost of having to return a hunk of junk makes this look like a bargain. If there are any issues with durability, I will update. But today, this machine is nicer than I anticipated and I'm confident it will save me more in laundry expenses than I was spending at the Laundromat by multiples. It is much nicer than what I anticipated. That doesn't happen often. Warning: When measuring your space, be sure to include about 3-4 inches to accommodate the hose connections on the back. Also, make certain the drain hose is fixed above the height of the machine. ... show more
