This was a life saver for me and I have been using mine for over a year now and it’s still going strong. I just recently bought an automatic portable washer that hooks right up to my kitchen sink because this one is a very manual process. I learned that with each load I would do two spin cycles. So wash, spin dry and then rinse and spin again. So once I had the money for a more automatic one I bought one. I also wanted a bit bigger one so I could wash my blankets at home. But that should not take away from how good this little washer is. The spin dry is very powerful and the clothes come out hat barely damp. In a nice day my clothes can dry outside in 30 min. If I dry them inside I just leave them over night and they are dry when I wake up. You have to know that this does not have a pump to pump the water out it is a gravity drain so it needs to drain at the same height you have the washer. It’s quiet and gets clothes really clean. The media could not be loaded. Tired of spending crazy money at the laundromat while at the family cabin for 6 months/year, or filling up my car with dirty laundry when I have to go home periodically, I decided to try out this portable washer/spinner. So glad I did!! In the few weeks I've been using it, it has paid for itself. Honestly I like it better than my big machine at home. It's fun and easy to use, gets my clothes cleaner and fresher smelling in a much shorter time, uses less water/energy/soap as well. I have elderly dogs and use "dog towels" which need frequent washing. I can bring less clothing to the cabin as I can run a small load anytime. I purchased a drying rack from Amazon a few years ago. I set it up on a sunny deck and after spinning (w/no wrinkles like in my big machine at home) items dry in about an hour. I use my new washer in an old tub (see pic). A small hose attached to tub faucet fills, and it drains into tub drain w/attached drain hose, works perfectly. I didn't need to raise up the machine (which is nearly impossible anyway) and yes a little water gets under machine when draining, but it is definitely not an issue. I love this little machine. It saves hours and many dollars at the laundromat. I have a few tips: dont use too much soap, use liquid as the pods are gonna be too much soap for any load that fits, ,and while you can rinse on the wash side after washing and draining, just filling up again w/fresh water, I have found that using minimal soap, sufficient water and not too many items per load, AND adding a little liquid water softener right in w/the soap during the wash cycle, cleans and softens without the need of rinsing at all..as long as items aren't excessively dirty. If you are careful with the lint holder, empty after each load, let it dry and carefully snap it back in, it will last and function well. I leave the tops open to dry machine after using. Press the vented plastic piece onto the wet clothes on spinner side and it takes about a minute to spin water out. I recommend not overloading either side. It's just me and my dogs. This is not designed for use by a large family, maybe just as a backup. All said, it's an amazing little machine and I believe I chose the best one at the best price! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This machine is perfect for anyone that doesn’t have access to a full size machine or needs something separate. I think it cleans better than our full size did. The wash cycle is very thorough and simple to drain when it is complete. We usually run a rinse cycle or two after our wash cycle, and then move the clothes to the spinner. You can set the spinner up to 5 minutes but it really only needs one or two for the clothes to come out only slightly damp. We currently use a drying rack to air dry the rest of the way. The capacity is obviously less than a full size machine but I was pleasantly surprised with how much we fit in a load. We do smaller more frequent loads and have unfortunately run out of dirty laundry before we were done “playing” with our machine 😆 We run ours in our shower but have not noticed any leaks, we run the drain hose right out in the shower and it works great. There is minimal noise, we can’t hear it in the next room. The only minor complaint is it takes a lot to rinse all of the soap out, no matter how little you use. But I can only imagine that the full size machines are the same way but you just don’t see it to know it. All in all, highly recommend and would purchase again! ... show more

I had my doubts about the quality of this washer, but needed something for my small apartment which does not have washer/dryer hookups. The agitator is strong and the wringer works really well. This machine is made for small loads, which cleans well. My biggest complaint is the drainage. The drain hose needs to be of equal height of the drain point for the water to expel. In my case, I had to build a platform to sit the washer on so it would drain, which works great now. I just got this machine and hope it lasts for a while. We shall see! ... show more
