I really like this product. So much so, this was the third time I've bought it; first two were stolen. What got a star knocked off was because this third one, the black one, is louder than the first two. The first two were the rose gold/blue. The flame level goes up on its own. Ex: if I light four candles, that first ignite is low, really quite. Any flames strikes after that, gotta be 10x more strong than the initial. And I think because of it's self-adjusting defect, I'm refilling the black one more often. ... show more

Overall it’s a good torch, BUT there’s an issue that you should be aware of before buying. The ignition wire isn’t one solid wire. There’s the ignition source, and then the electrode wire itself. Now this is held together with an insulation sleeve. This is done to allow the torch head to rotate without damaging the wire. Problem is that when it rotates it pulls the two wires apart because there’s just not enough slack. I’ve been a metal worker for almost 20 years now. Honestly I think it’s an all around decent torch, but if you’re not familiar with torch maintenance then it might be a pain. Granted it's a pretty easy fix. But not everyone is up for doing it. So if you’re looking for something that you won’t have to tear apart soon, then it’s just not for you there’s plenty of open style torches on Amazon that work great for cheap. I have a couple of JEVTSU’s that work well. They’re about $12 for a 2 pack. So that’s an option. Hope I was able to help someone out there! Good luck and God speed! 😁👍 ... show more

Each category gets 5 stars but overall I give it 4 because pf this one simple fact that it even mentions in the directions but disclose up front, after almost every use you have you adjust the flame height.. I have never had a yorch that requires that frequent of an adjustment. If fact most are almost set it and forget it. Atleast they make the adjustment super easy. It's just very annoying at times. ... show more

Only reason I give it a 2 start is it has a good feel to it and I like the look. If they could get it to light more then once out of 10 clicks I’d give it 5. I’m returning it.
