    • Nice, simple electronic lock
This is probably designed for an entry door but we have a door into our garage that you can open from the inside whether it’s locked or not resulting in getting locked in the garage and having to bang on the door or fish out the hidden key to get back inside. This seemed to fit the bill. We wanted a simple keypad lock and didn’t need it to have an app or connect to WiFi or all that jazz. Installation was fairly easy. The included strike plate was significantly different so I just left the existing strike plate on and it works perfectly fine. I did have to chisel out the edges of the recess for the plate that goes around the latch, ours had rounded corners and the included plate has square corners. Not a big deal and not the fault of the product. Instructions are pretty straight forward and it didn’t take long to install. Once installed, added batteries, set our code and it seems to work great. I like that you can hit any button to get the keypad to light up and then enter your code, push the enter button and you’re good. You can turn the keypad beeps on and off, put multiple codes in and set it so that it auto locks from 5-99 seconds. I set it at 99 so if we pop out to take the garbage out or I need to grab a tool I don’t need to re-enter the code to get back in. Just turn the knob, walk back in the house and it auto locks on its own in 99 seconds. The knob itself is fairly heavy and seems nice and sturdy. I wanted a simple to operate, waterproof, key-code door to my garage. I want to keep my garage locked, but I don't want to fumble with keys every time I go out and my dad feeds our chickens and uses the garage, so he needs access as well. This product, the second Yamiry door lock I've purchased (the other is the fingerprint model) installed quick, had easy to understand directions to set the combination, and feels really well-built.     • Great door lock with code
I bought a door lock with a code, and I'm very satisfied! The design is modern, and installation was easy. The keypad is user-friendly, even at night. The lock works perfectly, and I haven't had any issues so far. The battery lasts a long time and alerts me when it needs to be replaced.

This lock was a direct replacement for my garage door and it doesn’t matter if it’s a left hand door or a right hand door. Super easy to install and program just read the instructions you’ll figure it out. I like that it comes with keys as a backup but I can primarily use my code. Can’t beat it for the price. I can’t speak on longevity or battery life yet as I haven’t had it long, but it seems great so far ... show more

Lock is working as it is supposed to which is very good. Came with clear instructions on how to program it. Best part was the installation of the lock. It was so easy to do it. Company has provided step-by-step direction that anyone can follow to install this lock. Two thumbs up from my side.

    • Completely useless and terrible design
The strike plate is impossible to line up and it's completely different than standard doors. After trying to move the strike plate back by cutting out a hole farther back to correctly accommodate the lock, it still does not work and the locking mechanism won't align to lock. I'm either going to have to call a professional to fix it or just throw it away. Very disappointing... ... show more

    • Simple instructions. Just BE CAREFUL when unscrewing the knob
I initially had an issue installing the lock because I was unable to remove the knob with the provided Allen wrench which was a key step to installing it. However, I let the company know of the issue and I appreciate that they kindly expedited me a new lock right away. I have come to realize that in order to remove the knob, you have to slowly and carefully remove the screw attaching the knob to the lock. You have to be VERY CAREFUL in not damaging the screw since it is VERY FRAGILE, otherwise it will be impossible to remove the knob and hence install the lock. Besides this step, the installation was pretty straight forward and simple. This is my first day using this lock and so far it seems to be of good quality. Then again, this is my first day with this product so I will update this review overtime if necessary. ... show more
