  • Don’t you want hair like Julianne Moore?
Size: 12 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) Color: Copper
Perfect red, amazing 🤩 First I dyed my virgin hair (medium/dark brown hair with slight red tone (only in the sunlight) and grey hairs) with Garnier Light Natural Copper (two boxes). Two weeks later it was completely dull, see first pic. Red fades FAST. So I thought I might try using a semi-permanent copper dye more often. Instead I found this product. I’m so glad I took a chance, the review pics weren’t totally convincing but people said “If you want copper this is the right product”, absolutely right. I put coconut oil around my hairline, ears (I would suggest putting it all over your neck like 3 inches from your hairline especially in the back lol). Applied this to dry hair, my hair is just above my ass so I needed almost the entire bottle, it’s thin hair and not a lot of it though. Waited 35 minutes, then rinsed, bending over so it didn’t spray all over cause man does this stuff stain plastic/paint quickly! So good tho! I ended up adding the remainder of the bottle to my roots though because my roots were still pretty brown, like dark Auburn. So I did that, washed out an area on the front part to see how it was doing after an hour, still too brown. Patted it dry and applied more product, waiting another hour before rinsing. Perfect. Maybe it’s because there’s more oil on your roots so it’s uneven/not enough time to dye the roots the same as the rest of your hair. It’s been about a week, I wash my hair with conditioner every day, and wash with shampoo every 2-3 days. Color still looks great, a little lighter but I still love the red. Tips and tricks; •’Use on dry hair. • Use on top of a box dye ect., as opposed to just this dye itself on virgin hair. • It’s stains EVERYTHING. So use coconut oil around your hair line, on your ears ect. Have plenty of rags & paper towels ready, but even if it’s on your wall/sink for 5 seconds it will stain it orange. So lay down a tarp and be careful lol. • Use gloves - this will stain your skin. • Dye your whole head, roots first, for 35 minutes. Rinse, dry hair, then apply to roots for 2 hours. • The heat from your head will not affect the dye process like box dyes • Pick one/two towel(s) that will be your hair towel, even after like 5 washes it still bleeds into the towel a little bit. • The lighter your hair the more bright it will be! My highlights are like…crazy bright in the sunlight, looks like legit fire. The rest is very natural and mild, like Julianne Moore. ... show more

  • Gentle on curls
Size: 12 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) Color: Merlot
I have naturally curly hair and wanted product that would add pigment without damage or a big mess. I had previously tried Manic Panic and it looked like a crime scene when I was done. My hair felt dry and I had several red stains on my walls, door, and shower curtain. I loved the color but never wanted to do that process again. I tried this out in Merlot and ended up with a beautiful deep rosy gold (my hair was previously lightened to a warm gold) after a few treatments. The color doesn't penetrate my new growth which doesn't bother me because my natural hair blends well into it. My hair has stayed soft with no damage to my curl pattern. If you don't want your hands to turn whatever color you'll be using or your manicure to change colors, use gloves. Thankfully for me the merlot color washed off with a couple rounds of soap and didn't leave any noticeable change to my skin. I've just finished my first bottle and got about 8 treatments of out it. I have thick porous curly hair so I had to use a out 5 pumps on each side to get good coverage. If your hair is thinner you'll probably get more uses. There will be color running down the drain when you wash but it's really not that much, unlike Manic Panic where it was bright red rinsing out of my hair for weeks. It only lost a star because the pigment isnt strong. It reminds me of what your hair looks like after a few washes after you color it something bold. It took a few treatments to achieve a good color and the remaining treatments were for maintenance. Still very impressive. Will probably order again. ... show more

  • Cool product!
Size: 12 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) Color: Copper
I hope this review is helpful! I was once a trained hairstylist although it’s been a long time since I have been in the industry as I’ve been raising my family, however, I do have a good understanding of the different color options and how they work. This would definitely be something in the semi-permanent realm. I remember using a similar product as a child but this is way better! So- a little background: I have a natural color at a level 6 (which is a light brunette) and in the summer, certain pieces will naturally lighten to more of a 7 (dark blonde) and I also have just a small amount of very subtle highlighting in through the ends that I had put in at a salon to give my hair a little dimension but for the most part, my hair is virgin (not color treated) and fairly mousey. In the summer it pulls a little golden but in winter my roots seem pretty dull. (I live in northern Minnesota) I do have auburn hints but it needs sunlight to really see it. ANYWAY- I wanted something I could use to just give a little bit of life and interest to my hair but that is not super high maintenance as I do not have the means to visit a salon all the time. I purchased the copper conditioner since I already have red-head vibes with fair skin and freckles. I LOVE IT so far! As a semi-permanent color, it will not turn your hair the exact color of the product (as in, it will not remove any of your current pigment as a lightener or permanent color will) but simply add the pigment to your existing hair. (Think of it like a stain) If you are light blonde, I am guessing it would make your hair VERY orange over time using it but if you have very dark or black hair, it’s unlikely to show at all. For me, my level 6 brown at my roots did not show much difference- just a very very slight orange hue- but my level 7 dark blonde ends from highlights and sun bleaching turned a very natural looking coppery orange. I wanted it to be fairly subtle and it is that! For this first time, I applied to dry hair as recommended and let sit for a bit while I took a soak in my tub- then I rinsed it out and shampooed as normal. I can’t speak yet to how long it lasts but from what I know of similar products, I should likely just be able to use the conditioner as an actual conditioner every few showers to maintain as bright of an effect as I wish or else just wash several times for the color to fade altogether if I want. I just applied my first round but it smells fine and my hair is soft and manageable. I like it a lot! This seems like a great way for someone with my hair type to add a little bit of life and flare without hardly any effort. I can’t wait to curl it tomorrow and see the pretty copper tones working through the ends! Highly recommend for light brunette to dark blondes! - I will mention that I did apply with gloves but I didn’t get much staining on my hairline or shower so I’m not sure if it was really necessary. ... show more
