I love this awning! It's easy to put together and install, and does exactly what I bought it for. I'd give it 5 stars, but I went with 4 because the knob screws tend to come loose. I've noticed it a few times, and just tightened them, but on a really windy day, one of the knobs managed to shake loose and get lost, so now I'm on the hunt for a replacement. I'll be buying a handful, because I'm sure this will happen again. So if you buy one, check the knobs periodically to make sure they're tight. ... show more

Easy to put together, easy install. I love the way it looks and it goes up and down really easy like a window shade. In addition, we had a horrible storm, a tree fell but this was lowered to up and down position and it made it through no issues, I would recommend this shade awning to anyone looking.

Adjusts easily to whatever height needed and secures tightly so house. Lightweight and easy to relocate if wanted. Does require 2 people for final assembly to roof/floor. Shipping was fast, I was able to put it together by myself and install it in under 2 hours. It was simple to put together, the instructions were easy to understand, the parts are all in bags and labeled with stickers, which makes it easy to assemble, and I only needed a Phillips screwdriver! It keeps the heat from coming into the room, so much so I can clearly feel the difference. I bought the khaki/beige color so it let's in the light, but keeps out a lot of the heat. Even though I was able to do everything myself, it would be more reasonable to assume it's a two person job. I don't know how it will do in higher winds or rain (we hardly get any), but I'll see how it does under the intense sun I get. I would, without hesitation, buy it again! ... show more
