This safe, while not heavy weight and fire proof, is a handy safe to have for various reasons. This safe came very well packaged and fullly assembled. It was double boxed with metal corners for support. They had inserted some padding in the door to keep things from scratching. As advertised there is plenty of room for rifles and shotguns while also compact and fits nicely in any space. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a convenient gun storage while limited on space. This works well for us to safely secure our pistols and shotguns away from the little ones. The hidden manual key backup option is also a nice addition in case you forget the pin. ... show more

Quite small for more than one long rifle, and if you don’t set it on the floor or carpet the weight will make it fall. But is good as a nice gift

I received this first Gun safe, everything was great about it. IT was well built to keep child/theft away. Will alarm if there present of suspicious activities by slight movement to remind the owner. Alarm is loud enough to be heard, Guns are well protected and store, and secure to keep them safe at all time. I got this because it has tremedous value for a compact gun safe at this typical size for my need. Materials were strong and not easily access by any mean for theft and deter them or for them to break through it. I migh consider getting another one when my collection grew. ... show more

    • It's okay and it does what I need it to do
The first one I got was a dud because the electronic keypad wouldn't unlock the safe. The key worked fortunately. The second one I got works fine. Also I believe the solenoid that locks the handle in place is pretty small but gets the job done. I got this safe to prevent any children/unwanted visitors from having an easy time getting in, and it does just that. It has all the basic functions a safe should have. The price is cheap because it's not a high quality safe, and for me personally that's okay because I didn't want to spend $400+ for a nice one.     • Great for the money- Easy to troubleshoot non working keypad
Safe came packaged well, fully assembled. I noticed at first the batteries weren’t working to power the keypad but when used in the backup pack they worked fine. So I removed 4 small screws on the interior of the door and removed the battery panel to find it wasn’t plugged in from the factory. Plugged the battery tray in to the board inside the door and it works perfect. I saw several reviews mentioning theirs was “dead on arrival” and I wonder if they didn’t check if this was plugged in. It won’t fit my ar15 with red dot unless I remove the full size magazine. Minor inconvenience. All in all solid safe / locker I’m happy with it. ... show more
