Very nicely made. Programming was straight forward and quite easy. *Beware when mounting the box. If you tighten the screws too tight, it can cause the lid to not close easily. (It can cause some binding) *Notice! It comes with 3 spare keys! (2 - in a ziplock bag, and 1 taped to the INSIDE of the cardboard box) When I was throwing away the box, saw it taped inside. There is a small notification card with the 2 keys. (Should have read it closely) The cable seems to work pretty good. Programming codes and fingerprints is a breeze, the instructions are clear and straightforward with little to no room for error, the safe itself seems sturdy and durable with plenty of room to fit 3 mags (2 of which are extended) and a compact pistol with a bit of room to spare. The speed at which the safe pops open upon finger print is quick enough where I'm confident in an emergency situation I'll be able to access my firearm when needed with no hassle. The keypad input obviously takes longer but it still really responsive and the fact we can program multiple sets of prints and codes makes it easy to plan for emergencies. My only real issue is the fact the safe runs on 4 AA batteries (which I likely skipped over in product details as I don't recall seeing that listed), but I suppose that's more a personal gripe than anything as even without batteries powering the keypad/print scanner I still have the key which pops the safe really quick. I feel an improvement could be the addition of a solar strip/magnetic charging option to at least power the fingerprint scanner in the even you the batteries run out and you don't have access to the key. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the product and will update in a few months to a year if I have any issues or find any faults. Would recommend though as a entry safe ... show more

The media could not be loaded. First impressions... the key is very stiff in the lock to open it. The "4" DOUBLE A BATTERIES, make it open easily when using the biometric or code entry. More than one fingerprint can be entered. Once the digital code is set, you can set up fingerprint. You can then delete eitger as desired. Easy to set up. I just wonder how much power the batteries are using to open a stiff lock. How long they will last or... will they fail when I need it most. Having a low batteries warning light would be a plus. Fits both of my handguns and I have it beside my bed so that I need only to reach over and put my finger on the pad. It pops open immediately on Contact. It’s safely holds my 380 and my 9 mm. My husband and I are the only two people who can open it. we had everyone else in the household attempt it and even used different fingers on our hand it didn’t open!. It was solid. It’s very light but comes with an anchor cord that will make it impossible for anyone to carry it out. The mission of the safe is to provide reasonable security for a firearm and to make it easily accessible in an emergency . It does that very well with both a fingerprint reader that works better than my rifle safe and large push button code entry buttons 5 buttons that you can program The buttons are about .75 in square (large) and great for quick access under stress. There's also a keylock in case of battery failure . Understand that the mission of the safe is to make the firearm quickly available and yet restrict entry by the curious, especially children . It is not likely to survive a hammer and screwdriver for very long but that is not its mission. Response of the print reader is less than 1.5 seconds and the lid is spring loaded. ... show more
