This is a very nice gun "Storage" cabinet for firearms. To keep kids from getting your firearms, it works great for that considering this is a sub $200 storage unit. It's not fireproof and could (probably) be easily accessed with the right tools, but definitely better than nothing. For what I paid, I really like it a lot. Assembly was super easy and this was WELL packaged! My only complaint is that I cannot get the fingerprint reader to work. It seems to be hit or miss, but mostly miss :( You can still use a code of your choosing, so it's a minor inconvenience for me, but would be nice if it worked properly. ... show more

So the good is that it's an inexpensive gun safe for the capacity, it does the job of keeping them away from the kids, is easy to put together (takes about an hour), has a nice easy to use electronic lock. The bad is that it has the feel of a Cabinet more so then a safe. The top shelf is not a useful as I'd of hoped, as the handgun holders (with a handgun held in them) on the door does not clear the shelf, nor does some of the longer shotguns/rifles, to clear them you have to move the shelf fairly high up making it small/less useful. I didn't expect a safe fI r the price but I also didn't expect a bud light can that holds firearms. Handgun pouches are useless cause the shelve hits the firearms. Came all dented due to the very thin gauge of the metal. Front door pins are hollow with a smaller rod that inserts into a false 1 inch pin on door. I can literally take my flat blade screw driver and pry the top right off. This is good for keeping nothing of real value safe. It's good for keeping 5yr Olds out of it but when they turn 6 they will probably be able to get into it. I am just keeping it completely honest. ... show more

No it’s not a safe. It is a gun cabinet. They say 12 to 14 guns with scopes. Not sure what guns or scopes they are using, but no. I got 5 rifles and 4 pistols in there. That’s why 3 stars. Easy to put together and sturdy. For a secure gun cabinet, it will work.

    • Instructions are bad.
Don’t buy this crap. Won’t even hold my AR-15. The foam inserts that suppose to hold your guns upwards doesn’t fit. It’s too big only for big barrel guns. Was too damn hard to set up and the interactions were outdated and didn’t cover everything so I got tons of extra pieces left over that weren’t in the build instructions. The spelling was horrible so obviously they had some robot doing them instead of REAL human technical writers such as myself. I’ve put tons of stuff together before. After hours and tons of anger later I finally set it all mostly up. Like I said unlisted parts are left over and now I got three bags of parts I can’t use due to nothing in the book showing me what they’re for. Some of the metal pieces such as the roof didn’t have holes where the booklet said there would be so I just buckled the roof down like instructed and that’s all I did. Nobody will know lmao. I usually don’t post videos or pics coz I’m lazy haha I don’t have good lighting in my house anyways. Another thing I hate is this safe doesn’t have the patriotic vinyl like the other buyers pics did. Very disappointed in that. I planned on buying two more safes with that patriotic pattern to make this three safe wall. Sadly can’t do that now. I’m not one to paint my own safe. Not artistic type. ... show more

This item is not of quality. Missing parts, contacted the company they refused to send the missing part. The cabinet instructions was difficult to read. The cabinet was not put together. Buyers be aware of this seller. I do not recommend this item to anyone.
