This is a very nice gun "Storage" cabinet for firearms. To keep kids from getting your firearms, it works great for that considering this is a sub $200 storage unit. It's not fireproof and could (probably) be easily accessed with the right tools, but definitely better than nothing. For what I paid, I really like it a lot. Assembly was super easy and this was WELL packaged! My only complaint is that I cannot get the fingerprint reader to work. It seems to be hit or miss, but mostly miss :( You can still use a code of your choosing, so it's a minor inconvenience for me, but would be nice if it worked properly. ... show more

if its empty or lightly equipped, it will fall over from the door opening, forcing you to mount it. functions well other than that nothing fancy

Damaged and the lock isn't Programmable or at least the instructions are unclear. I couldn't find any videos on how to either. Works enough with a key. Cheap for a Cheaper product.

This gun safe is sturdy and very secure to store rifles and hand weapons. The seller stated that the safe would be securely packaged and that’s an understatement!! I was shocked when we took this out of the box, there were mental corners placed to be sure no dents would be possible. The safe arrived in perfect condition, no dents like other people reviewed with other safes. The door is very strong, it was recommended to attach to the wall which we did. There is no place for me to use biometrics on this safe so not sure why it advertises it as such. Just a keypad. And a latch
