I ordered this for my daughter to use when she teaches swimming lessons. The one she had was an adult size and too big for the little ones. This is the perfect size for those just learning to swim. Everything about this board is made specifically for beginners. There's a pattern in the coating that makes it non-slip, so their little hands won't slide off. There are 2 separate spots for them to hold onto, the waves on the sides and the 2 hand holes at the end. It's made with thick EVA foam that makes it extremely durable, yet lightweight. Purchased this boogey board due to the good reviews and under finger grooves, but the pink unicorn one does not have any even though they are advertised. Otherwise my daughter (3 yo) likes it.
