There's a lot to love here; the color options, the included batteries (chargers, screwdriver, etc.), the multiple options for usage, the built-in demo mode, the ability to turn off the music and sound, and the fact that this thing does pretty well on carpet; it most certainly flips, then keeps going. On the other hand, I was fairly disappointed in certain lacking areas of the functionality. If you're wanting to simply use the controller's sticks to steer this vehicle, things get a bit tricky. If the car flips, suddenly forward is backward, and vice versa. If you're trying to turn while moving forward, the back wheels stop to adjust to your angle (which doesn't feel natural). Using the sticks, you'll be unable to stand the thing up, and spin it at the same time. And the controller itself feels like the cheap thing it is. In short, this was mostly designed for use with the sensing watch, and that's likely beyond the scope of many kids. Still, because the item has a $20 list price, and affords so much of the versatility not commonly seen in RC race cars, and monster trucks, I'd still ultimately recommend it to most shoppers who aren't looking for a high-end item. The car's built pretty solidly, to be honest. But the controller leaves much to be desired. It does come in a nice box though, and setup was a breeze. ... show more

This little rc car is a lot of fun. It really does drive in the gravel and such. You can do a lot of neat tricks with it. I really appreciate that it comes with the hand motion controller AND a regular controller. It doesn't have super precise steering, but does some neat things. It is very loud. It has an engine sound in normal mode and music in auto mode. I set it to auto and my dogs had fun barking at it while it did its tricks. The video is the product description is spot on. This remote control car is a lot of fun once you figure out how to drive it. I wish the directions were more detailed. It can do quite a few tricks or stunts. I ordered this for my six year old nephew to play with when he's with us, however it seems our 17 and 19 year old sons (and my husband) plays with it more often haha. The car has lights and different sounds and looks really neat during the nighttime. This rc car can flip, lands on the opposite side, and still continues to go on. My boys had a similar rc car like this when they were young and it takes them back to that, so they like playing with it. The remote connects to the car just fine and controls it with no problem. Remote control flip car! Fun and fast little thing!! Once you get it figured out, it is great. Harder for young ones without patience but well worth it for the laughs. Solidly built and pretty resilient for as often as it is crashing into things. 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
