I live in southwest Florida, so it gets darn hot down here. Having this little fan, on those days when I need to be outside for a while longer than I’d like, helps considerably. It be great if it actually was an air conditioning unit, or a spray bottle with water might be nice, but the charging feature made that more important than a spray. Nothing more amazing than having a couple of minutes of extra charging time for my phone, on those days when I’m out and about, and I have nowhere else to plug it . Don’t expect to have this thing charge your phone all the way! It doesn’t have enough juice to do that. But, when you’ve gone into the red, and need to have enough charge to get you just through, especially if you need to make a phone call, this is so handy to have. My only problem is I need to make sure that I remember to charge IT, lol. It holds a reasonable amount of charge, but when you’re using it to charge your phone, you do need to recharge IT’s charging power, lol. ... show more

So far, so good!! This small fan puts out the power, and is very compact in my small purse. I bought one for me, and another for my mother. I've used my fan several times, but only for short periods of time, so I can't speak for its true battery longevity, except that it's run without stopping. However, my mother uses her fan daily(the fan&flashlight aspects; at her non-AC house renovation, here in Sunny FL), and for several hours(6-8) each time, telling me that she adores it. When she lost her fan recently, and wasn't sure how she could tolerate her days without it, she was thrilled to get another one! The flashlight is quite bright, esp considering it's size, and it sits well on its own on stable surfaces; a nice&subtle addition to my desk&bedside table without being too windy. We haven't used ours yet as a battery backup charger, but it's a comfort to have it available(instead of my monster sized charger)when away from home. Two thumbs up!! ... show more

Definitely worth the money ! Surprisingly powerful for its size . I got one before that was bigger and had to be plugged in to actually last longer than 2 minutes. Seriously, when it ran on batteries it only lasted 2 minutes. But this thing came ready to go and charged . Two settings and the the 2nd one is powerful . I’m very hot natured and it seems the rest of the women I’m around at work and school are all anemic and freezing all the time . So to find in the loophole in the constant battle between the thermostat, I got this little gadget to ensure I don’t have to exist miserably in this 100 degree heat, simply because some people don’t want to put on a sweater. Never figured out how to use the flashlight on it and the instructions didn’t mention it. But it works so well I don’t really care . Keeps a charge for a long time . This is a great purchase . If you’re on the fence about it, buy it ... show more

I wasn’t sure what to expect out of this little fan, but it really helped while sitting in a stadium on a 97 〫 day. It lasted the whole time, about 2 1/2 hours and still had life left. I didn’t run it continuously, but almost. It took a while to charge fully using my computer, but if you know you are going to need it just charge it ahead of time. It’s been more than 2 weeks since I used it and it still has a charge. The one thing that could have been a little better is the way you open it up, it’s a little hard if you don’t have strong nails to pull it open.
