  • Great training aid
The product appears to function very well. It is easy to set up and use. I still haven't figured out the smash factor and its importance to increasing my club head speed. Very happy so far.

  • The feedback is a good way to adjust your timing.
I didn't need to track my shots, so the lite model was fine for me, although launch angle and club face position would have been nice. I like that part of the display is big, but swing speed and smash could be bigger. The beep is good feedback too. The case is solid, but the book could use some more information about what you're seeing. The tape measure is clumsy and almost useless, but if you measure your shoe length you can step off your distance instead and mark both places on the ground. Setting the device for the club you are using is a little confusing too. W1 for driver seems like it should be for a wedge. I would prefer the device be rechargeable than using batteries. All and all, this device is helpful to improve swing speed and timing so that you have a purpose when on the driving range. ... show more

  • Nice portable launch monitor
This launch monitor is very compact and easy to use. It works well and the distances given are pretty accurate. I leave it in my golf bag and bring it to the range. It does not attract a lot of attention, which I really like. Very discrete, but nice to have to see if certain changes in your swing can affect the clubhead speed, distance and smash factor. ... show more

  • Bare Bones, Budget Monitor
Budget friendly, with bare bones information. I finally got this setup along with an IZZO striking net for a football party I held recently. The guys had fun comparing swing speed and distance, but I found that this monitor doesn't always pickup the swing/ball, and it didn't seem all that consistent even though some of the guys that used it are very solid golfers with consistent swings. In the end though, I do think is was capable of separating the field of my of beer drinking competitors. A couple of the guys are seriously long off the tee and they definitely had the highest club speed and distance out of the group. It is very easy to use and setup. It uses off the shelf AA batteries, has a measuring tape for placement, it is fairly compact, and it comes with a nice and sleek case for storage/protection. ... show more

  • not reliable
For such an attractive compact launch monitor and at a reasonable price one could only hope for a semblance of accuracy. But, not so. Although it is responsive it is too often inaccurate up to 20 yards carry even on middle irons. Also it is cumbersome to change clubs. Sorry to say this is not a smart purchase. Surprising with todays sophisticated technology. ... show more

  • Good budget monitor
This launch monitor is missing a lot of features more expensive monitors have, but for what it does it does seem to be pretty accurate. Battery life is good and it's set up is easy and very portable

  • Fun and insightful for home or range practice
This is a super convenient and useful training tool to have available. It's very small and compact and comes with a sturdy protective case. Set-up is super easy, just make sure its charged and prop it up a few feet behind where you tee up the ball. Make sure you set the appropriate club because otherwise the numbers go out to lunch, but when setup correctly it measures fairly accurately, at least accurately enough to give a shot-to-shot delta. The most useful stat it gives to be is the smash factor, a measure of how well you hit the ball. I like to use this to compare one shot to the next and help me hone in on face contact improvements. I think this is much more useful than the raw yardage value it gives, especially when hitting into a practice net at home compared to on a range. ... show more

  • Handy Golf Tool for the Price!
The first readout screen gives you the main things an amateur golfer would need to know, which are: 1) Distance 2) Swing speed 3) Smash factor (how close to the sweet spot you’re hitting) The Readout and screen are clear and easy to understand. It’s lightweight and convenient to carry. Regarding accuracy. It’s hard to know without sizing it up next to a Trackman (which is $10k) side by side, to know if this device is completely accurate. But, from what I know about my own personal swing, it does seem to be in line. Obviously, the price on this device is considerably less than a Trackman so it might be a good investment, especially for a new golfer looking to improve his/her swing. ... show more
