Have used it as both a SUP and kayak. Both work great. SUP is super stable and the size makes it nice to stretch out on and relax. Set up for kayak is quick and easy and with the loops on the sides you can set it up to be comfortable no matter what size the person is. Absolutely thrilled with this purchase. It is better than expected. Very easy to inflate the board, seat and foot rest with the included hand pump. It took a little under 15 minutes to inflate the board. Could not wait to try out my Isle Switch in the water. It is extremely light to carry which is a huge plus for me. My old hybrid SUP/Kayak weighed in at approximately 55 lbs. I could not go out paddling alone since I always needed someone to assist me with carrying it to the launch. With this amazing board, I am able to be completely independent and free to go paddling at my convenience. Highly recommend this product and so glad I purchased it. ... show more

Ordered as I have a small smooth surfaced lake by my house and wanted to try something new for exercise. Comes in a handy carrying case. Everything you need to get into the water in less than 20 mins. It blows up easily and extends to over 11 ft long. The material appears to be very durable, although I wouldn’t recommend going over sharp rocky white water with it, even though it converts to what they call a kayak. It’s basically a seat on top of the board so you can sit. Once I assembled and put it on water, I will say, I’m not the most stable of people and had a little bit of a tough time getting up on it. Once I did though, I was able to to navigate my little lake fairly easy and got some serious leg, arm, and core work in. I’m a big guy at over 300lbs and it held me easily. The site says it holds over 400+lbs. It’s a nice looking board. I really liked the design and colors. Really looking forward to getting my grandkids in it. 😁 It’s a little pricey, but having the convenience of pack-away when your done over finding area large enough to house a full sized board is tough. I would recommend as it is good quality and a lot of fun 👍 ... show more

The company has recently been sold. I purchased their board in June 27, 2024 and the board is ripping right where the center handle is. It is the only way of carrying the board as you go to and from the water. They have a sweet deal with West Marine who sells their products. West Marine says that Isle handles their warranty directly and gave me a way of contacting them. I provided pictures of the damage, a receipts, everything. They said that because I didn't purchase it directly from them, but through the distributor, they wouldn't help me. Huh? The warranty department, who has three people in it, no supervisor, and just fired one of the guys, laughed at me. They agreed it was a failing product but understanding I was 3,000 miles away I had no recourse. Nor would they allow me to elevate my concern or give me a number to the headquarters. I even called their retail store in California and they told me I had to go through warranty. They admitted with the new owners there were issues. Clearly, the board is ripping apart after less than three months. I walk it 300 feet to the water when I use it. West Marine admitted they were having a number of issues with the boards and said that reviews shouldn't be trusted b/c Isle was working hard on making sure influencers in the paddleboard world were pushing their product. They suggested I get a Bote instead. Shame on Isle. Go elsewhere. ... show more

    • Stepping Up My SUP Game With This Paddle Board
This is my second stand up paddle board. My first one was inexpensive but it did the job. This one is such an upgrade. It’s so well made and high quality. The seams and seals of the board and the side stabilizers are way more solid than my cheap board. You definitely get what you pay for when it comes to this equipment. This set comes with everything that you need for a great day on the water all in a well made backpack. The items all actually fit back into the bag too when you are done, which is a plus. This board also comes with an attachable seat and foot rest so that you can set it up as a kayak. The paddle can be converted from the SUP paddle to a kayak paddle to use with the kayak set up. So far I cannot see anything that is wrong with the package of included items or the quality of the product’s workmanship. I am very happy! We have inflated it and tested it in the garage because we have had such bad weather that we have not been able to try it out yet. As soon as the weather warms we will hit the water and I will update with photos and ride evaluation! ... show more
