  • A great board all-around.
UPDATE 10/17/16: I've now officially had a full Summer with this board and I still recommend it. It did bow somewhat in the middle, and the only reason why I know that is because it whistles a bit when driving now but nothing detrimented the useability of the board. I've had several grown males right at or maxing the weight limit who wanted to test it out and all were able to use it with ease. We raced it across lakes, piled nieces and nephews, and dogs onto it. This board saw a lot of action and it's no worse for the wear - it's perfect for people looking to get into the sport or causal paddleboarders; everyone hopped on after 10 quick seconds of tips no problem. The only person to fall off tried to get fancy and do some crazy yoga stuff. -- I'm 5' 3" 125lbs, so I opted for the 9'6" board so I can maneuver it myself when needed. The top-out weight according to the site is 200lbs vs 270lbs or so with the 10'8" which means it might take away some stability, but fairly negligible if you aren't close to the max weight. Taller or heavier people I think should opt for the larger size. The board itself is gorgeous, I love the classic wood look and they did a great job on it. The paddle is strong/sturdy, and adjustable -- I will say that the paddle was shortened pretty much to the max and it me perfectly, it probably could have another 2 or 3 inches to spare for people 5' - 5'2". The soft top was harder than expected; which was a pleasant surprise for me - the entire face of the board is a no-slip material so I think yoga would be very doable. I practiced getting it onto the roof of my Rav4 with no problems -- it's a light board (22 pounds) so I had no problem lifting it on my own. Another option is to set a towel/blanket on the car and just shimmy or slide it up the side or over the hood. One final note, delivery was a breeze. I scheduled a drop-off online through the courier company and they called when they were about a half-an-hour out (you choose three hour blocks). The guys dropping it off were really friendly/personable, took my signature and headed out! All in all if you're looking for a great board (esp for beginners) that can be used all-around I think this is it. The price and quality are outstanding. ... show more

  • Genius handle makes this SUP easy for solo gals.
This SUP is exactly what is says it is and is really that easy to assemble. It is beautiful but aside from the beauty, it is great for a short gal like me who needs to be able to haul the board by myself. This board is 28lbs and I can get it out of my 2nd story condo, down the stairs and into my van with ease. The handle is genius and that is the major reason that I bought this particular board. (I would never been able to handle a SUP by myself without it.) An inflatable was never an option for me, too much set up and too many mangroves in the water down here. The soft top feature is genius and yes it does get dinged but then pops back after a bit. I like that I can eventually try yoga on it but not there yet. I have taken it down a stair entry into a river in downtown Tampa But my favorite is floating it off the the boat ramps in the bay, the best. I cut across some boat wakes and had no problems staying up. I live in a one bed room condo and am hanging it from wood hooks and using its beauty as wall art. This would be a perfect board for a solo gal worried about weight and maneuverability. I am a kind of out of shape, not skinny girl with Achilles problems who purposely bought this board to fit my lifestyle. Buy this board now!! ... show more

  • Great starter SUP
Good beginner SUP. Easy to manage, light weight. I've only used it on flat water, which is the majority of my use anyway. I bought this as a first sup before spending a lot of money on a nicer one. I think it's great for our lake, camping trips. It does seem to get dinged up real easy, but so far I like it. I bought the 9' board. It is very stable and bouyant. I'm 5' 1 and 115 lbs. I do think it's suited better for smaller people. If I were taller and heavier, I don't think it would perform as well. You really would need to go with a longer one.. ... show more

  • Great Boards and Great Support
I purchased two boards. They are amazing. Yes, a bit pricey but in this case, you definitely get what you paid for. They are very well constructed and sturdy. On that of that, they just look really cool and are so easy to carry to the water. Now, unfortunately, when I received the two boards, they were both damaged in shipping, in spite of being very well packed. I contacted the company and they almost immediately sent out two replacement boards after I sent them pictures of the damaged ones. I received the new boards in perfect condition and the damaged ones returned. Although all of this took some time, it was very professionally handled by the seller - great support. In addition, they reached out to me on several occasions to be keep me updated on the replacement process. Very impressed. ... show more

  • Difficult to transport
Good quality board, but VERY difficult to transport. This is my first paddle board and I’ve learned the only way to transport without a special rack is to have thick foam on top and bottom where it is touching absolutely anything. If you don’t do this you will get a dent in the soft top and I have in the bottom as well. It managed to get a dent in the bottom while storing it due to its own self weight. Like I said, good quality board, but I will definitely be buying a hard top if I buy another in the future. ... show more

  • Beginners board
Does not Feel solid like a rigid fiberglass board. Very disappointed. First board had creases. Ordered a second and it was worse. I ordered it in advance for a vacation. But had no luck. It may take several months to get one not creased or perhaps impossible. Got refunded

  • Good sup
The first board arrived damaged in shipment. Contacted seller through Amazon and Isle Sup made good on the damaged board and shipped another. Board came in today and I can't keep the wife off of it. It is comfortable and stable. Would definitely buy again.
