As someone who isn’t super handy, installing was basically a breeze other than I did not test it prior to install (rookie move)… the first one I received, seemed to be defective and did not have any power but I reached out to customer service and they were able to replace it quickly and have one shipped to me within a day. The second time around, it took less than 10 mins to install. I really like it so far! The only thing that would make this lock better is some type of confirmation from the inside that the door is locked. I’m big on safety and double check all doors at night and that does seem to bother me a bit. Overall, the handle seems to be really good quality and the packaging was great! I recently purchased the IRONZON Fingerprint Door Lock Door Knob with Keypad Keyless Entry Door Lock, and unfortunately, I was left feeling extremely disappointed. The installation process was a nightmare due to the poor description provided on the website. The instructions were vague and unclear, making it difficult to understand how to properly install the door handle. Additionally, the design of the lock itself seemed overly complicated, with multiple components that didn’t seem to fit together properly. Furthermore, even after struggling through the installation process, I found that the door handle itself was not as sturdy or durable as I had hoped. The black finish looked cheap and started to chip off after just a few uses, giving the lock a worn and unattractive appearance. Overall, I would not recommend the IRONZON Fingerprint Door Lock to anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-install keyless entry solution. The poor description and lackluster quality make it more trouble than it’s worth. ... show more

Edit: apparently the device glitches out sometimes when the batteries are low. The first time it just died, but the second replacement it just went wonky. Battery replacement fixed my problem. This product was a little difficult to program. And unfortunately died after about 5 months. I can't find a way to message the seller. But I'd really appreciate a replacement ... show more

I have an autistic child who tries to elope. These are probably the best purchase I have ever made. They were simple to install and set up. My only complaint is that they do not lock from the other side. Still a 5 star product. Have had for over a year and have not had to change the battery.

Easy to install although i have an old house and i had to alter the door frame where the lock hits a bit to make sure it had a full throw. I expected the handle to be bigger being that it holds the batteries. After install and programming it had a firmware update that erased all the programming so i had to start over on that. It’s only been installed a couple of days but so far it works as advertised and does what i want i will update if that charges.- 60 days out I’ve had to change the batteries twice now in one week and it seems to stop working almost daily and i have to pull the batteries out to reset it which of course it’s locked so i have to get the key out to open the door to take the batteries out and start over and then at some point it stops working again. Completely defeats the convenience that i bought it for. Very disappointed.--update, after several emails with the company and a lot of back and forth with a customer service rep named candy including having to take a video of the lock not working( Couldn't I have just pulled the batteries?) they sent me a replacement lock. I am two weeks out on that and since it was the same model all I had to do was switch the handles. So far it's working but jumping through the hoops was annoying and being asked to leave a good review if they replaced it was insulting but three stars seems fair because I do like the product when it works. ... show more
