I like these A LOT, however they promise to be airtight and the seal is foam. So yes, they close, but they are not as airtight as perhaps I would prefer. The size is perfect. They are thin so they can easily slide lots of places. The wheels are plastic but do work well. The set does nest well. The scoop is a nice touch. I love having my pet food nicely organized in this very nice containers! One for the dry food and one for their treats! I bought two and what a difference! I keep them in my kitchen and they are very nice looking! They seal nicely! Super sturdy and now they make my kitchen look nice and the containers fit nicely on the side of my island! Replacing an old container. This one is much thicker & sturdier. I love that it has a stacking container. I can keep dog food in the big one & cat food in the small one. It snaps, then slides readily. However, the small container will slide off easily if not careful. I have it 4 stars instead of 5 for this reason. I bought it for rice. It’s a lil small for a large bag of rice but I knew that going in. It’s nice and easy to use. Just be careful about picking up the containers by the lids as it’s not the most sturdy and can spill.

    • Perfect pet food storage!

Do I wish this wasn’t as expensive since essentially it’s a plastic bin with some upgrades? Yes. But that is what it is. Overall, this is a pretty excellent container! I was a little worried after reading some reviews and then receiving it & seeing how small it is (ordered the 25lb + 10lb). However I can fit a full new 25 lb bag of Orijen Original recipe in the wheeled container. I leave it in its original bag with the top cut off & there’s still plenty of extra room. If I actually dumped the bag into the container I’m sure you could fit another 5-10 lbs worth of food. Im glad I didn’t opt for the larger size!! The top container is quite spacious as well… think larger sized shoe box like a Nike box! My two husky mixes eat a split diet so I use the top to hold 3 bags of Nature’s Diet Simply Raw which weigh 3 lbs each. They just barely fit when kept in their original individual bags but they do fit & the latch seems very secure!! Again, if I dumped the bags into the container I’m sure I could fit at least 3 more bags worth but I don’t need to do so nor do I want to have to clean the containers every few months. The latch on the bottom one is fairly loose & not airtight. I left it in my parents garage where they have ants & they got inside the bottom container. Granted at this time the top container was almost empty so it didn’t have any weight to it but with the full 9lbs sitting on top of it in the little container the freshness seal works more as it should. The top container latches very securely. I also like how the bottom lid has a divot so the top one slides into place instead of it just sitting on the other & able to freely slide around. My container hasn’t gotten much wear yet but the lid hinges feel adequate enough.. I do plan on being gentle with them though as they are only plastic. The included dry food scoop is also great! ... show more
