      • It does NOT do what it's supposed to do.

    I only gave it 4 of 5 for suction as it doesn't actually have any suction, but it allows the iOttie suction cup to work properly. I haven't used it for that long to see how well it holds up, especially in hot dashboard sun or below zero cold. If you need to remove the old one (or this one) they say to use dental floss, but I found the floss breaks and cuts into your hands before you get it off. Instead, I used 30lbs braided fishing line, and used gloves and/or tie each end around a stick or spoon. ----------------- It worked fine until the summer and the adhesive on the bottom gave out, with the iOttie attached. It just does not seem to handle the heat. I tried Shoe Goo and that didn't work either. It might be fine if 75 degrees (F) and below, but 80 - 120 on a hot summer day it can't handle it. I'm still giving it 4/5 stars for the cooler months. ... show more

    I was having an issue with trying to find a car mount for my car. Not really a good spot in my car for a car mount. Also didn’t want to mess up my dash either. This was the perfect solution! I already had several of the MagSafe pieces from other car mounts that didn’t work out. So I paired the MagSafe pieces with this. Perfection!     The media could not be loaded. ⚠️DO NOT BUY⚠️ This product is not adhesive free and will make a big mess and will fail when it gets warm… In fact… after closer inspection it’s not even a suction cup… it’s just an adhesive pad… you can see the lip that runs around the edge to hold the adhesive in place.
