  • Great product
Style: Hammer
Easy to follow instructions and worked well on project

  • Power little air hammer
Style: Hammer
Great quality tool. Very strong little gun. It made short work of chiseling out some frozen brake caliper slide pins. Runs smooth and is a great value for what it is. If you need an air hammer for a an automotive project, this is a great choice.

  • Worth buying
Style: Hammer
When ordering I made a mistake thinking it was bigger. But it’s made of great quality and gets the job done. If purchasing I do recommend buying other attachments as they only provide 3 in the box.

  • A lot for the money, but a couple of oddities..
Style: Hammer
Noticing a lot of refurbs there right next to the new ones :D These looks really nice but seem like they're produced quickly and not quite to the same care of the more expensive variant. Note, it doesn't come with the case. I REALLY wish you could buy this case as a separate. I hate loose air tools. Whenever they're just hanging out, they never live as long. Might look into a cheap pistol case as a makeshift for the missing tough plastic boxes. EDIT: Ordered an MTM single handgun case for 6 inch pistols - It was 10 dollars. It fits perfectly with a coupler in place and has room for some bits.. On mine, little things.. The sticker on the body wasn't on straight and hung outside of the detent on the body. It wouldn't harm use, but it's hinting at assembly line fun. I was a little curious about the insanely low torque setting on the quick change sleeve. 4 foot pounds on the twist on sleeve itself, and 9 inch pounds on the grub screws? That is NOT much. Effectively means, tighten until you feel any resistance at all and then stop. Problem with that being, on the grub screws, there's blue locktite in place, so they don't turn with any freedom that will let you judge an incredibly low amount of force like that. You just have to screw them in, and stop and hope for the best. I do wonder if this would be a warranty breaker on just about every single installation. Mine also didn't want to function until I'd installed the sleeve. I can't see why this might be, but until then it would only operate while tipped up, with the hammer at the back of the gun. As soon as the end and bit was in place, it fired on all speed settings. Doesn't seem to be any function to the external sleeve or bit changing anything at all in regards to the hammer placement, so I have no idea what that was all about.. Possibly just chance, and a need to run in the valve a little bit? All in all, good value, but there's just something oddly generic with missing CQ about this that makes me wonder if it'll last. ... show more

  • Good Bang for the Buck! Seems QC upped their game.
Style: Hammer
So far I've used it several times to "coax" rusted thing where I need them to be with great success. I'm a full time mechanic, and haven't had an issue in the 5-10 times I've had to pull it out of it's draw. I looked through the reviews after puchase but before receiving the air hammer, and I was a bit freightened. As of January 2020, all of the quality control issues I had read about have been fixed. Maybe the contract went to a new factory. Or someone up at the top lit a fire underneath the company that held the contract for IR. Either way, the grip looks good, I see no signs of bad machieing or bad molding. As for the tool galling or deforming the air chisels bits that are provided and being stuck in the quick release: Zero issue. Maybe the steel has been upgraded. Maybe others were putting in 8hrs straight on this tool. I've had zero problems with tool deformation and being stuck. I used some bits more than others. The tips of course so wear, but where the tool meets the bit all if fine. I did read that there where some internal failures as well. So far so good. But this tool comes out for about 15 minutes at a time. Or even less. If this is the only took you used for your entire 8hr shift, maybe look to greener pastures. If this tool is used to break loose a stubborn bolt on a Thursday afternoon and to knock out a axle on Friday. Then is is a good "bang" for the bucks. Over all: price, ease of use, and power are all great in my book. Just shoot some oil in her with every use and it should last a lifetime. ... show more

  • Amazing air hammer
Style: Hammer
I bought the dewalt one thinking it would be good, it's the worst air hammer on the market. Pretty disappointing. But this air hammer hits hard and fast. 3x better than the dewalt. I've tore a lot of tile out with it. Makes tile removal the easiest money on the job. Even really well stuck tile comes up pretty easily, just sit on your knees and pull the trigger. Easy money. Well worth the 50 bucks or whatever. ... show more
