This is a small dining set. The dinner plate is what could be considered a salad or dessert plate. The cups remind me of the tea sets I had as a child the bowls are ok. As a person who practices portion control the set is a perfect size. Smaller plates and bowls make it easier to eat less. Coffee is better in a smaller cup as I am able to drink my coffee before it gets cold verses the oversized mug that gets cold before I finish drinking it. ... show more

I liked these dishes so much I didn't return them when one arrived broken...I just got an extra set since they weren't too expensive. Very cute but they are breakable

Make sure you read the dimensions on the description. I assumed they were normal size... silly me. The plates are like a salad plate size. The cups ( I only received 3???) are really small too. The bowls are an ok size. All the pieces are thin, kind of like Corelle. All the pieces were in fine condition, no breakage or color issues. I am returning them for a different set. ... show more
