The quality of these plates and bowls are great! They’re heavy duty (which I like), and look beautiful. However, the 2 different set of bowls are kind of weird. The short ones are really wide, and the tall ones are really narrow. The first thing my kids said was “what’s with the sizes of these bowls?!” Neither of them are ideal for cereal, that’s for sure! ... show more

I love the color, weight, and size. In finish- both glaze and shape- each is flawed. 3-d bumps of glaze from drips, spots with no glaze, etc. Re shape, the plates don't all sit flat when stacked and, looking down on a stac from above you can see they are not concentric. Same with the bowls. I bought these (two sets) in anticipation of a move. I did a very perfunctory exam for breakage only. Finally making the move and using the dishes...
