I had some slight issues removing the dipstick but customer service/support was quick to assist. Log splitter worked well. Very powerful and compact storage. I sat the splitter on my tailgate and split over six cords of wood.

The Proyama Log Splitter works very well. It handled large pieces of wood without struggling. Knots were a problem for it. The splitter needs to be 50 within 50 feet of an outlet. My family and friends were impressed with it. Does a great job without spending $1,000. Very satisfied.

This review is submitted the same day I got the splitter. I put it together laying on its side, stand and all. It did not require 2 people for myself. It took me maybe 40 minutes. You will need a few regular sockets and wrenches. I had it running and split about a half cord of rounds into split pieces in about an hour. It worked quite well. No hang ups or failures. So bear in mind that is just one day and not a review of its longevity but I am happy with what I got for the money. I loved at the other similar electric 6.5 ton splitters here on Amazon, there are several that all look like they are the exact same machine with different paint ensembles. Some Orange and black, some, Black and Orange, Some Blue. Some Black and Purple. Different colored wheels etc. Look at them close and they are the same machine.SOme f them were more expensive. I went with the cheaper price but there were two for the same price to pick from. All in all, Its better than the Axe It replaced, which was how I was splitting in the past. My axe is 20 years old and my body and it are 20 years older for the wear and tear. I got more wood split in an hour than I was able to split over the last few months b few rounds at a time. ... show more

For a Homeowner with limited duty this little splitter is very good. While this is a compact unit for storage and moving around - it is heavy! I see some people mounting this on a small wagon and towing to the site they want to split wood at. If you are on flat terrain, not a big deal to move around for most, on hilly terrain, the small wheels make it a pain in the a$$. That being said, I like it, and it works well for my needs. As I trim trees on my property I cut the limbs and trunks to be split for firewood. Things I plan to change/modify. Bigger Wheels - or mount on a small wagon I will probably mount a better "lift and pull/tow" extended tow bar on the front, or mount on a small wagon for easier mobility. Will probably add a 2" shim to the pusher to get a more complete split on the tough logs. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Welds on the splitting attachment are really bad. 2 handed operation is actually much more unsafe than one handed. I ordered a foot pedal in hopes it will bypass the switch. It’s saving grace, it splits dry wood well. Ps, you’re going to want to sharpen both wedge faces as they have entirely to much paint on them. ... show more

I found myself splitting wood from my stack of dry oak way too often when i bought my wood fire pizza oven. It's not a large oven so I like to use short small pieces keep the fire hot and under control. I tired of swinging my splitting axe and purchased this Proyama splitter. It works great and arrived mostly assembled. It's electric so i never need to worry about it starting or running out of fuel. There is a shaft stop I use for my short pieces. The 4 way wedge is also handy for shortening the press distance, though not really for splitting into 4 ways. I bought the short frame which is stable and i just roll it out on the edge of my deck so I don't have to lean over. Customer service was also very helpful. ... show more
