... to get rid of many bugs and imperfections. I do not understand how a safebox can be made of plastic. The idea of a portable safebox is of course a commendable one, but it defies the whole purpose of a safety box - protecting the content from being stolen. One could simply steal the whole box as those wings do not do much of a protecting. Yes it does have shock and movement detection, but what good does it do if there is no WIFI network present or is badly covered. It would be much better to make this box a "NONPORTABLE" steel housing that you could bolt to a concrete wall. This box is in my opinion NOT meant as a portable safebox (would you really pack it in a suitcase or backpack, take it to a plane and a hotel room somewhere halfway across the globe, only to have your passport, bank cards and pricy watch stolen together with the safe...?) This box really is good only for items that have to be under controlled access i.e. out of reach of children etc , but still easily accessible to other (like medicine to elderly people)... But even a kid can take a flat screwdriver and pry the door open. I wanted to use this box as a carkey distribution point for my employees. The trustworthy ones could take carkeys when needed, to the other ones I could give access over the internet when the need would arise. The concept is still to be worked out, but at the moment this is still the best solution I could find on the market. The software will improve as I was promised, with most of the present shortcomings fixed and/or implemented. There is also a 3 times bigger steel box "announced" to hit the market in a year or two.     • A bit flimsy but suitable for my needs
The app is no longer available so you have to download the Motorola app which comes up when you do the search for "ikeyp app" everything connected pretty smoothly and seems the work just fine.

This safe is great and easy to use…. The only down side is the material. I wish it was made of a stronger material. I feel like I could easily pry this safe open without a struggle. The WiFi feature is great. I love that it can be opened remotely from anywhere.

I have had this POS for nearly two years and in that time I've only found one android phone it was supported on and it's a 5 year old moto g. Whoever is supporting this device sucks at their job. Do not buy this if you actually want to use the app functionality. Trash.

Stopped working after about 1 month. And Awful support -phone line goes straight to voicemail and email support does not answer tickets submitted. They claim to answer questions within 24hrs but doesn’t seem like anyone actually works there

    • Easy safe at home
It’s easy to install. Wireless setup is also quite easy. Keyboard’s use is comfortable and faster to open than using an external device. Despite the materials, plastic like, it’s safe enough for home use. Maybe if it had been manufactured using harder materials, like metals, it could have been more solid. I’m living in Spain and the app wasn’t available in the Spanish App Store. Support lasted less than 24h to make it available. Great support. Great product. ... show more

    • Great safe to secure items/keys!
This safe a is a great way to safely secure items and give yourself or others access with no keys. With my kids always forgetting there keys...I could secure them in the WiFi enabled safe and remotely give them access or they can access it themselves via there phone. I have had others check my home for me while I was away and giving them access via the WiFi safe. Works great! ... show more
