  • Hurst! How can you go wrong?
Hust shifters have been around for decades and they continue to provide car buffs with excellent products and items we have come to expect will provide us with awesome results. I had initially ordered the Hurst White Shifter Ball, but upon receipt realized that I should just go ahead and order the entire kit for my 2015 Camaro. It literally took 20 minutes from start to finish and I was on my way. It exceeded my every expectation when I first drove it and continues to, so far. The shift pattern is so short it makes you hesitant to believe it has actually entered a gear. No missed shifts, no sloppiness and nothing but excitement and fun... ... show more

  • Been wanting this for my 2010 Camaro
Though I have not installed this on my 2010 Camaro 2SS Camaro yet, I give it 5 stars because it seems to be very well made. I look forward to installing this and using it and will try to remember to update this review at a later date. I finally had time to install the shifter about 2 days ago, live it. I don’t see or I should say hear what some people are talking about. The shifter is not loud and clunky to me. Yes, you hear and feel it when you shift gears but I think this should be expected from a performance shifter. I absolutely live this shifter. I wish I had installed this a long time ago. I’ve been enjoying driving my car more every since installing it. I definitely recommend giving it a try. ... show more

  • Also fits 2015-17 Chevy SS sedan
Installed this in my 16 Chevy SS, along with the Hurst extreme pit pack and the Pegasus CNC rear poly mount. Just follow the Hurst install video, EXCEPT the sedan knob will remove differently than the Camaro knob. I trimmed a Hurst Super Boot to fit inside the console (B4 is too small) and used a 0015 stick instead of the 7201 that came with the kit. It is 2" taller and sweeps rearward more. You also want to install the CAGS skip shift eliminator while you are under the car if you haven't already. Almost all of these parts are available on Amazon. Shifts are crisp, the shifter is in a good position for me, there is little road noise, and my wife can use the cup holders. Definitely a win-win. ... show more

  • Awesome...of course..it's a Hurst
I installed one in my 2010 Challenger (different model) 2 months after I bought my car in 2010, and just recently purchased this for my son's 2010 Camaro SS. This shifter makes a HUGE difference in the whole feel and experience of driving these newer muscle cars. The shift gate is shortened to almost half of the travel, providing a positive and solid feel for every gear. I'll never go back to a stock shifter after installing this. Hurst has started to provide a "noise dampening kit" as well, because these do tend to transmit a little more of the transmission gear noise because of the type of shifter coupling material they use. I never installed the dampening kit in my car...I do notice a little more transmission noise while sitting at a light....but that's what the radio volume is for :-) Seriously though, this is a known issue with these newer more solid shifters, so it becomes more a matter of taste and you can read a lot about this on some of the car forums (both Challenger and Camaro). ... show more

  • Nice
I put this in my 2010 ss in an hour. It would have been shorter but I dropped a screw behind the heat shield! ****!!!! It was a complete pain in the butt to get it and took me about ten minutes. I have only driven the car once but I liked the shifter so much that I had to write this now. The shift feels amazing and it is way smoother than the stock shifter. The box said it reduces the shifting distance by about 40% but it feels like a lot more and it makes the car a lot more fun to drive. If anything happens to the shifter as I drive the car I will change the review. Oh... one complaint... It comes with a white knob and the one I like that is aluminum and black is $75. I would guess that most people would rather not have a white shifter knob. ... show more

  • 2010 camaro project shifter
This thing rocks!! Followed a YouTube video on how install from Hurst very easy I’m jamming gears like a mofo now, snatching the passengers neck with each gear. Very durable love the way it feels (that’s what she said) looks cool too

  • Awesome upgrade!
This shifter is worth every penny! If you are even considering buy this shifter JUST DO IT. I installed this shifter myself on my 2013 Camaro LT V6. I did read a few reviews that said it is harder to install in the 2013s and it is NOT true. The only difference is two spring assemblies that hold the stock shifter in place. These two spring assemblies can be removed by stretching the rubber cover under the center console and removing one bolt per assembly. It is not necessary to reinstall these springs, the Hurst shifter works just fine without them. Overall the installation was a little tedious, having to go under the car, but the results are worth it. I did use this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f60YJ50ZNe4 Along with the instructions and that helped a lot. The Results are amazing. The shifting is short and smooth. The lever feels solid. I couldn't be happier with the way this shifter changed the overall enjoyment of driving my Camaro. ... show more

  • Fit my 2013 Camaro 2SS perfectly!
Love this shifter! I really love the classic look and feel to this shifter, its crisp and precise with extremely short throws. A vast improvement over my stock shifter.
