The plastic on the original shifter broke. Tried getting by with glue, tape, etc., but it would always re-break. This one looks and feels stronger than the original shifter. It was easy enough to install in my 2000 F350 after checking out a couple of youtube videos.

Easy to install works well. For shifting gears. Have not tried overdrive button yet however I did notice lights do not light up but not sure they're supposed to do with this unit

Very nice! I liked the look and the built-in overdrive on/off indicator light that shows through the pinholes near the switch. Seems more sturdy than OEM.

Was not the same Connector original one had flat pens in the connector. The one I bought had square pens in the connector so I had to butt Splice the old connector in place of the new one
