The hoverboard didn't work from the beginning. It was charged for 6-8 hrs as I was told once it arrived and still wouldn't work. I did all the trouble shooting suggest on card and website. Since I paid about the a few dollars less than a brand new one, I decided to return it after 2 days. This company charged $20 restock fee for selling products that don't work. Our kiddo loves this! The lights are bright and the board gets good speed. The only downside is it does fairly quickly and doesn’t make any warning sounds or anything when it’s about to die
