  • What a fun radical ride
Color: Black Style: Eagle
Charge it up and let it fly. I really appreciate the speed options mode. The slower speed mode can be switched while driving it. It says typical slow mode is up to 3mph, max is up to 15mph. The brake feature is a god sent too, having it is extremely helpful at those higher speeds or even lower speeds. If it’s not completely effective you can always push down on the back wheel fender too which seems to help as well. The thumb push lever does the trick though and quite well at stopping your momentum. If you’re planning to go for a ride that happens to be up to or more than 7 miles, better take along the charger too and plan the trip to stop by a friends house. Otherwise you might be pushing it with your foot because it says the range is up to 7 miles. The wheels are a bit on the smaller size and hard material. There’s not much smoothness to the ride but rather on the rough side..still it’s extremely fun speeding around the neighborhood. A cool accessory provided by the manufacturer is a thumb bell attachment. It reminds me of riding a bike in the neighborhood as a young kid or something out of the 1950’s TV show. Super cool. Word of advice, read the instructions and get familiarized with the scooter before running top speeds. Unless you’ve had one before, then take it to the limit at your own risk. Another word of advice, when I mentioned the tires, the material of them is hard and when traveling at a higher speed can get stopped rather abruptly by a rock or other objects. This can cause you to defy gravity rather quickly and then obey the laws of gravity extremely fast by abruptly hitting the ground. Take safety precautions by wearing protective gear. It has a rather nice size price tag for the scooter but the features, durability of the material and it folds up pretty compact are worth the price in my opinion. It’s pretty easily transported if need be because of the ease of folding it up; it’s very lite weight. HAPPY TIMES!! ... show more

  • Wheels are smaller than the average scooter i see ....
Color: Black Style: Eagle
The 7-mile range on a single charge is quite impressive, as it ensures I can comfortably reach my destination without worrying about running out of battery. The battery life indicator is clear and accurate, allowing me to plan my trips accordingly. The Hover-1 Eagle is also equipped with a durable and sturdy frame, capable of supporting riders up to 220 lbs. I feel safe and secure while riding it, knowing that it can handle various terrains and conditions with ease. Additionally, the scooter features a bright LED headlight and brake lights, ensuring visibility and safety during nighttime rides. The built-in electronic and disc brakes provide reliable stopping power, giving me peace of mind while cruising at higher speeds. One downside I have noticed is that the ride can be a bit bumpy on rougher terrains. The scooter doesn't have suspension, so it may not be the smoothest ride on uneven surfaces. However, it handles well on paved roads and sidewalks. ... show more

  • Won't charge or turn on
Color: Black Style: Eagle
This is the second Hover 1 Eagle scooter I have purchased that has the same problem. Won't charge when plugged in and on switch won't turn on scooter. I don't know what the problem is with this brand/type scooter but I won't buy another.

  • Been fantastic for me
Color: Black Style: Eagle
This scooter has been fantastic! Unlike other reviewers, I’ve had no problems with the scooter. I use it sparingly, but I will say, the battery life has been awesome. After about a month with no riding, the battery was still 3/4 charged. For typically riding around the neighborhood, the charge can last about a week. Make sure you fully charge it before you use it. Read the instructions and you should save your product from malfunctioning. It gets up to 15mph and has two power options (speed wise) to choose from. Goes up to seven miles on a full charge. Awesome scooter, definitely recommend, especially for use in big city downtown areas! ... show more

  • Great foldable electric scooter but terrible kickstand!
Color: Black Style: Eagle
This is a very nice, foldable, electric scooter. It comes well packaged and is very easy to put together, just screw on the handlebars/grips, install the bell, and unfold the handle, then charge it up before your first run! It has two speed ranges (low-up to 7mph and high-up to 15mph). The weight capacity range stated in the manual is 44lbs to 264lbs. Both my daughter (80lbs) and I (220lbs) have used it with no problem. We initially thought it was not working since it did not move when we pushed the throttle, but you have to kick start it like a non-powered scooter, before the motor kicks in...this is clearly stated in bold letters on the Quick Start Guide - so make sure you read that! The display is nice and shows battery life, speed and speed setting, it also tells you if the lights are on and if your cruise control is on (YES! it has cruise control!). It has the throttle on the right hand thumb position and the brake on the left hand thumb position. The thumb brake works well for casual breaking, but if you are going down a hill or have to come to a fast stop, there is also a break you step on at the rear wheel like a none-powered scooter have and you can use that if the thumb break is not enough. The handle easily folds so that you can store it or put it in a car trunk. The battery takes about 5 hours to charge and the range is "up to" 7 miles which really depends on how much weight is on it, amount of starting and stopping and hills (as with all electrical conveyance devices). I thought that the range was pretty decent given how lite this is for an electric scooter with only a 36V/4Ah battery. It does have a small shock absorber on the front wheel, which it not very noticeable, maybe it helps to take up the vibrations from the solid tires. There is a headlight and tail light on the scooter so people can see you at night. The head light is gives a nice wide angle beam, but I do wish it were adjustable so we could point it down a little more to see details on the road ahead. The one issue that we do have with this scooter is the kickstand! Ours may be defective. I have to pry it open and shut with a screw driver! This is not convenient at all. I think that the locking mechanism is stuck. We got this scooter for my daughter as a Christmas present and there is no way for her to operate the kickstand, so she has the lean the scooter up on something or she has to lay it on it's side on the ground. Highly inconvenient! Another improvement I would suggest is some way to lock it with a key . It would also be nice to have a way to put a cable lock on it in case you need to run into a store and can't bring it in with you. Maybe some sort of a welded loop on the frame, the only place you can do it right now is the back wheel. Overall, this is a great scooter and a good value for the price and the options that it has. They just need to fix the kickstand! ... show more
