  • So much fun!
I wanted an electric scooter for purposes of fun. This scooter delivers! The color red is vibrant, the LED under glow is a unique feature, the bell is loud and quirky, the scooter goes super fast, has cruise control, and the Bluetooth speaker is LOUD and easy to connect! This scooter has it ALL and is a great option when looking to purchase an electric scooter for ANY reason! I love my scooter and have had it for over a year now! Also, it was super easy to assemble!!! GIVE STARS! ... show more

  • Base broke off with 145 pound person riding
I bought two of these scooters and the battery life is great, but the front fenders on both rattle around and there is no way to tighten them. You literally can't get an air pump fitting on two of the four tires between both scooters becasue of the wheel cover. If they go flat, the wheels will have to be removed and then the covers to access the air valve. The bluetooth speaker is really useless. My son is 145 pounds and rides this to class and back on a college campus. The entire base broke broke off, so I'm hoping this can be welded back together. ... show more

  • Price is fair.
Been using it for three weeks now. Battery life is good. Take to work and home and stays above 17mph until it hits two bars on the battery level. Then drops to 14mph. A reflector pop off on the back end by the wheel. Wasn't too happy about that since I ride it at night. And have to once a week add air to the tires. They get low from time to time. Tested the speakers and they are not the best of quality. And as for the blue light. Might need to take apart and disconnect. Too bright and would like to save a little more battery by doing that. If it makes a difference. But other than that. A good scooter. Get a lot of compliments and is fun to ride. ... show more

  • Works well, just keep both your hands on the handle bars.
First voyage I took with it was going well and on my way home the sun was going down so while I was traveling about 12MPH I decided to take my sunglasses off my face and put them on my head. I then promptly fell, broke my right thumb (and dislocated), and cut my left hand pretty bad. To make a long story short(er), I had a rock stuck in my pinkie and the ER stitched it inside my finger. Anyways it was fun while I used it, I definitely recommend wearing a helmet. ... show more

  • Rather Disappointing, Over All
I purchased this to replace my last scooter (it was stolen; my third in as many years) but I confused the name and ended up with a far inferior machine. I was gifted my last scooter and was convinced that the title, sloppily stenciled down the front was "hustle". My attempts to Google it came up with Hover, and I guess seeing them around town was enough to make my enfeebled memory go "ah yes, that's it!". The specs were close, anyway, as was the price (unbeknownst to me my friend had gotten a stellar, open box price for the "Hurtle" that he gave me; a lesser known name but a model that is closer to 1k than the $400 I paid for this). The Hurtle easily zipped up hills at 18mph, hit 30 on flat and I once forgot to charge it for almost a week and still made it home at 10mph on 2 bars. This lovely red contraption (I get many compliments on it's stylish look, which can be a bit worrisome as I could hardly outrun anyone who decided to take it by force). It tops out at 14mph on flats, the slightest incline drops this to 7/8mph, and as I live at the top of a hill (SF is, basically, nothing but hills) I usually have to push it the last block. If it charges over night I can go three blocks, turn around and come back within 15 mins and the battery is already down a bar. I haven't been careless enough to push it to the max but I would bet the scooter itself that the battery wouldn't hold a charge for more than 5 miles and one hour, at the outside. I am a female, 5'6", approximately 150lbs (the weight limit is 264) and I don't do tricks, jump curbs, etc. I would have returned it after my first ride but my friend who helped assemble it destroyed the box and I was told "tough luck". *After barely a month of limited use the lever that makes it go keeps sticking, which has literally put me in danger more than once. ... show more
