Very impressed with this trashcan. Initially, we were worried about the quality based on it’s negative reviews but we found that those reviews were based simply on the size of the trashcan, which happens to be perfect for our family size. (**Note: The stickers on the front and the bag inside of the trashcan in our pictures on this review are items we purchased separately.) The trashcan itself isn’t too tall to hide beyond a counter and each bin is deep. It hides well and holds a good amount. I can see it not working for a family of 5 or 6+ but with our family splitting our waste into trash, recycling, and compost materials, it works really well. It seems to be made of sturdy materials, both inside and out. The inside bins are colored black, blue, and gray. The bins are pretty tough and the bin handle is strong metal and works well. All three lids are slow-closing and you can lift the lid to keep it open, if needed. Personally I don’t understand giving negative reviews for an item simply based on its size when it’s dimensions are clearly listed in the details. My recommendation: get a ruler. Decide for yourself before purchasing like we did. We definitely recommend this trash bin. I can see it serving us well for years to come. ... show more

Really the only complaints I have about this is that the plastic bins seem just a trifle flimsy and they can be tricky to place in the unit after emptying. They seem to go in but when the lid closes you notice it won’t quite close all the way and you have to reseat the bin. I expect with time we’ll get used to getting these seated the first time, but it’s not optimal and the unit was not cheap so I expected a little better. The product looks and works fine. The biggest issue is this isn't 16 gallon trash cans, i used my 13 gallon bags and they were swimming in these trash cans. When it was full. ALL THREE got dumped in one 13 gallon trash bag and it still had room. I thought I was trading my 13 gallon trash can for 3x16 gallon ones. Nope, I got less room than my 13 gallon trash can and 3x the annoyance of replacing bags. totally inaccurate description. Do not believe this crap. ... show more
