These little heaters are not only adorable but can really heat a fairly large area. Just one heater kept the kitchen and living room (open floor plan) quite comfortable in temperatures that were below zero last year. They are all still working fine this year too! The media could not be loaded. I’m so happy. Yes, it’s plastic, but who cares? It’s so charming and realistic. Also, it’s light as a feather for easy lifting. The legs were super easy to screw in. Slightly tedious with my old fingers. There’s actually three settings. Currently I have it just on crackling mode. No heat is coming out of the unit. There are two heat settings also. I wish I would have read the description more. It doesn’t have a thermostat control like some of them do. It doesn’t have an automatic shut off either and it’s a faux door. BUT, it’s heats VERY WELL. And it’s really nice and the perfect color I was hoping for. I AM happy with this purchase.

Arrived today. After attaching legs I found 3 cracked places. Was very disappointed. It's so cute. Not very much flame either. No one's fault about cracks. Things just happen. I would not hesitate buying again from this seller.

My husband and I love this! We are using it in our family room that faces the front of the house that doesn’t get much heat from the rest of the house! It’s smaller than some others we had seen, but it heats so quickly! It’s very nice that it has two diff heat settings as well as the ability to turn on just the fireplace look without the heat! Seems nice enough for the price. Be careful: it seems to really blast some heat out when on high. Yes, the legs and heater are made of thick plastic. Shouldn't be an issue since it only heats with the fan running. Some people mention the smell when first used, and yes it did have an odor. In my case, it only took a few minutes to burn off and I cheated by using the bath fan to evacuate the odor before I put it in the bedroom. ... show more
