The media could not be loaded. I live in a townhouse and people walk by my windows all the time and look in. I hate it but love the daylight. I installed these covers by myself and it was very easy. Measuring and cutting is the hardest part. As you can see these do not block any sunlight yet no one can see inside anymore. I was really worried they would be too sheer based on a couple reviews but it’s not true. If you put your face up to the glass you can see a blurry person of course but my privacy is well protected. I feel very safe changing in front of them. You lay them out flat on a hard surface, measure your window glass and I suggest making them about 1/4” bigger than the glass then after it dries just use the exacto blade to trim it off otherwise you get side edges of clear glass. My first attempt was like this so I had to redo it. You spray the glass with water then put the film on the wet glass after you peel off the clear plastic backing. It’s not sticky like tape at all so it doesn’t get stuck or attached to itself at all. the water will make it get sticky after you put it on the window. You can move it around while it’s wet so it’s very forgiving and easy to do by yourself. Take extra care to cut straight lines and your good! Oh and get a hard edge or squeegee thing to smooth out the bubbles. It dries overnight and becomes unmovable when dry. It claims you can peel it off later but I haven’t tried that yet so I can’t verify if this is true. I’m renting right now so I’m praying it’s removable in real life. I really recommend this. I went to Home Depot but the one they had at mine was way too sheer so I took a chance on this one. So glad I did! ... show more

This is good film, it's nice and thick so it's easy to work with. When I got it it was very, very curled up and I thought that would make it difficult to work with so I put it under a rug with weight on it but it helped little so I just went ahead with the job. Here's the thing, once you remove the backing film the curl goes away and it becomes easy to handle. I'm good with layout so I cut it to size, about an 1/8" short on all sides. Like I said it's thick and I little hard to cut so if you do it the way the instructions say and cut big and trim it once it's up have a very sharp blade in your utility knife. All and all I'm happy with it and if I decide to get more this is the brand I will get. ... show more

I put this product up for heat block. I only put it on the upper half of the windows. The bedroom is on the west side but houses block the lowest of the sun setting. The room is much cooler. I was surprised when I went outside to view the install that it was blank. The film works so I can live with that. The inside is very pretty. I tried to follow the instructions closely. Cleaned the windows, used lots of soapy water and a squeegee. Install overall was easy after the first sheet. The only minute frustration I had was trying to separate the film from protective cover after the first cut. The beginning of the roll has a pull tab. After that, I learned to sort of crinkle, bend or whatever a corner of the next cut sheet to separate. I haven't tried the "take down, reapply" feature. For the now, the film is doing exactly what I needed and it's pleasing on the interior. ... show more

I purchased this for the side light panels beside my front door. I wanted some light but more privacy. I love that this is a static cling film and not adhesive. It was very easy to cut and install. The appearance is great and filters the flight. You definitely cannot see through the film.

It does exactly what it’s supposed to do so 5 stars for that! BUT it is so hard to apply perfectly. I redid these so many times and still have bubbles and imperfections. I even bought a second roll trying to redo my first round imperfections and it never got easier. I did 2 doors with 4 windows and then 4 smaller windows around my side door. I’m definitely keeping these up because I don’t want strangers to see into my house during the day but I would be lying if I said the imperfections didn’t bother me. My application suggestions would be to measure your windows and do first cuts with the backing still on that way you don’t have a lot of excess your having to hold while your placing them and the backing still being on keeps unwanted dust and debris from making impressions. Then clean your windows at least 2 times once with a paper towel and once with a microfiber cloth to get any remaining dust or particles off. Spray your windows heavily with soapy water or windex while applying. Make sure you have a squeegee (a credit card will cause visible scratches trust me that was my first round) and make sure you have a sharp blade to cut off the excess. A kitchen knife will not make straight enough lines (first round again😅). Once you squeegee it all on I used a credit card to hold against the seem and took my box blade to cut off the excess. When your windows aren’t perfectly shaped or have excess silicone sticking out it’s difficult. If you have really bad OCD hire a professional window tint person and skip doing it yourself 😂 ... show more

Works really well for downstairs dorm room window. I love having my window wide open day and night for my plants and just to get sunlight inside. I left the top 1/3 of my window undercovered and the bottom 2/3 covered with the frosted window cover. I have privacy and sunlight. It's perfect! I recommend having a second person help you out if you're needing a larger section put on your windows as the product can cling to itself and that was frustrating to deal with for a second. But other than that super easy to fit, cut, and stick on. My plants DO get filtered sunlight through the frosted window a tiny bit. The frost also blocks out a bit of heat from direct sunlight which is nice here in Arizona. Definitely recommend and will use again. ... show more
